Khaana sat on the floor and looked up at Ubba with a bored expression as he continued to taunt the priest.

"Haven't you had your fun? Is there nothing else to amuse you these days, Ubba." She called, to which Ubba scowled and looked to her. "Let the priest go" she said.

"I  could be amused in," he slowly brought his lips into a smirk, eyeing Khaana suggestively "other ways." He said.

"Right here? Give us all a show?" Guthrum chuckled. The priest looked appalled and Khaana narrowed her eyes with her frown. "Please, no one wants to view his unwashed arse" She said, her mouth ticked up into a wolfish smirk, a bite across her face "There is also the matter that I would sip poison like a fine wine rather than roll about with you." she said.

Khaana's expression became one of boredom once more "you couldn't entertain me for long, there is nothing you could do for me." she said.

Ubba glared at her, he then shrugged "the bitch likes to bark, maybe she needs a walk" he said. "Maybe Storri did not feed her."  he added. Khaana could not hide the amused smile that had formed from the mention of Storri. She could imagine the joy Brida was having from tormenting the poor fool. Still, she could not hide her giggle.

Guthrum eyed Khaana carefully, "I told you she was crazy." he said. Khaana tossed Guthrum a smile full of false sweetness "My dear, you've no idea." she said in a chirp-like laugh.

"Besides you show this man more kindness than he deserves, I thought you wanted all the Saxon kings to suffer for what the one had done to you." Ubba mused with a smirk. Khaana looked to the man strung onto the cross and then to the Dane. "What are you talking about fool, he is a priest, he did not correct me when I addressed him as such and Storri didn't either." she said speaking quickly.

"Storri is afraid of you, if you call him priest,  Storri would not dare correct you. As for miserable king Edmund...." Ubba turned to the man on the cross with a sly smile "he would not admit to any Dane he was king at this point. He can see you are no mortal, it is in your eyes." Ubba added.

Khaana's eyes hardened like stone and her expression became void. Slowly she rose to her feet and took careful steps towards the man on the cross. "Is the giant fool right?" she asked him quietly. The man shivered at the chill in her eyes,  "answer me, or I will let them have your hide as an offering to the gods." she said in a soft hiss. He gulped "He-he is... I am sorry..." Edmund stammered while she looked up at him. Her glare narrowed to be even more sharp and Khaana's hands twitched.

This cause Ubba to chuckle, his laughed echoing off the walls on the stone chapel which had become eerily quiet. "She wishes me to kill you, and if I do it may gain me favor - but you are in luck, I wish to talk to you." Ubba said.

"I do not wish for you to kill anything, I want his head myself." Khaana said.

"Have you considered my offer? Do you have an answer? I may stop her from claiming your head." Ubba said standing at Khaana's side. "Take him down, and ale, for earl Guthrum and for the elf." Ubba called. "I do not want drink - I want the king's head..." Khaana murmured, eyes trained on the man she'd once offered mercy. Ubba ignored her demand, and took Khaana's arm, drawing her to him. He wrapped her up in his arms, and she felt her stomach wanting to wretch. "You will unhand me." she said with deadly calm. Ubba pet the top of her head "temper, temper" he teased her.
