The sun was just starting to rise when Khaana felt a a boot nudged her side, opening her eyes she sighed, getting to her feet, Ubba's large hand gripped her shoulder, stubbed nails digging into her skin "we have made it to shore, " He near sang, still pleased with himself. "marvelous..." Khaana muttered, with  shove Ubba urged her to walk ahead of him, guiding her off of the longship.

She found herself being flashed around like a battle trophy as she sat before him on his horse as Ubba paraded ahead of his men, headed back for their settlement in Lundene.  Khaana was sure she was going to be sick, but she knew well this was mild, Ubba loved and took pride in power, and he saw her as a weapon, a tool for battles, she would no doubt be kept on an inglorious pedestal in settlement.

And she was right, the church of which they had turned into  feast hall was filled with cheers, boasting, roars and small duels from the Dane warriors. Women and men talking of victories, amazing feats, and more. Those women who had been captured as slaves served and cleaned as needed around the hall. Khaana, stood with  ships rope tied to her leg, tethered to a stone pillar within the hall.

Her gaze was dangerous enough to ward most of the soldiers away, but many came simply to look, Young warriors remember the tales of the Elf of Ragnar the Fearless and his family. All had heard the lie that she was stolen from the Danes when the Saxon slave attacked and betrayed his adoptive father and Ubba was looked to with respect for now taking her back and claiming her power for himself.

Ubba came to Khaana and looked her up and down, "you will need to pay for your own betrayal, elf." Ubba murmured in her hear, "I've  done nothing." Khaana uttered with a bored expression. "you have spat at the gods for siding with Saxons!" Ubba shouted at her. Khaana glared at him, turning to meet his eyes "I side with Uhtred Ragnarsson, I side, with Young Ragnar's brother,  I have not spat at anyone" Khaana spoke in a soft hiss, "anyone that is but you" she said with those words she spat into his face, Ubba chuckled and flicked it from his nose.

"I can break you," he whispered, grabbing Khaana by her arm, he shoved her forward and stood behind her, "It seems our Elf has been tamed by the Saxons!" Ubba called out over the hall, the warriors looked towards him and fell silent.

Ubba grasped the golden Rosary in his hand "marked by their  pathetic god,  shall we untamed her?" Ubba shouted, the warriors cheered and jeered. "you will be wild with madness to come to you senses." Ubba said leaning down to her ear, he started to laugh quietly, hands reaching around her to grasp the fabric at her shoulders. The the tug from each arm Khaana nearly fell forward as her tunic was ripped open.

As the dress slid to the floor, Khaana was left to stand bare before the hall, she lifted her head, and glared towards the room. "My men wish to see what the gods have created," said Ubba, "and they shall look well." He added.

Storri shook his head and looked away, Ubba un tied her rope and leading her by her shoulder, pushed her through the hall to it's center, some of the warriors reached out to her, one snatching the hair clip from her long braid allowing her hair to fall freely. "You will remember you are a beat" Ubba said, he called over two of his men as they stood before a small cage in the center of the room, sat upon a stone table. "Put her in." Ubba ordered.
