"That's what, A three story fall to the deck? I give you a one to three chance in survival." Pope said to John B Who was standing on the roof of the under construction beach house we were hanging out in.
"Should I do it?" John B questioned.
"Yeah you should do it, I'll shoot you on the way down" Pope replied jokingly while holding up a drill and pointing it towards John B.
"You gonna shoot me?" He asked, I rolled my eyes and let out a small laugh.
"They're gonna have Japanese toliets with towel warmers" Kiara says as she walked out of the house.
"Not surprised" I replied while taking a sip from my beer.
"Of course they are, why wouldn't they?" JJ asked.
"This use to be a turtle habitat, but who cares about the turtles. I guess" Kiara sighed as she made eye contact with John B who was still standing on the edge of the roof.
"Can you please not kill yourself?" Kiara asked, "Don't drop that beer! I'm not giving you another one" JJ yelled. Just as JJ finished his sentence John B's beer slipped out of his hand smacking onto the deck as it splashed onto my converse.
"Of course he did, right after I told him" JJ said.
"Wow, Thanks a lot John B" I scoffed.
"Hey Guys, Security's here we might wanna rap this up" Pope Suggested as we all quickly got up,
"I'm guessing the guys came early" I said before throwing my beer out. "Let's go boys" Kiara and I said at the same time.
"Gary is that you? Good to see you man" JJ Said
"Get your ass down here and quit egging them on" Pope Scoffed
"Your just asking for it" Kiara said to JJ. We all through out of the house hollering and laughing, quickly running down the stairs. We all split up and JJ grabbed my arm as we began running under the house,
"Hey!" One of the police officers yelled stopping in front of me and JJ causing me to scrape my leg across the concrete "aw, shit!" I groaned, as JJ pulled me back onto my feet, we ran the opposite way and one caught JJ but he slipped out of his grip. "Not much of a hugger man" He said me and pope laughed at his joke and ran, "Go Pope, Go!" I yelled as I jumped over the fence JJ right behind me, I pulled Pope up and we ran into the van, we all sat down, laughing our asses off.
"Check out Gary runnin' for a raise" Pope said
"Stop Guys! Your gonna give him a heart attack" Kiara said jokingly.
"Your so close! You can do it!" JJ yelled out the van as he threw a beer to the officer "They don't pay you enough, bro" JJ Said
"JJ, stop, stop" I said pulling JJ back into the van.
"Oh come on, that sort of initiative is begging to be punished" He said as his blue eyes faced my green eyes. I laughed.
The Van soon picked up its speed and we passed by a sign saying "Welcome to outerbanks, paradise on earth". We laughed as we were heading to the place we call home.
