The next morning I got up and got ready so I could meet up with Kiara and we'd meet up with the boys. I put on a bathing suit and just slipped on some shorts and a t-shirt.
"Your leaving again?" My mom questioned as I grabbed the cooler out of the pantry and began filling it up with ice.
"Yeah, fishing with Kiara and The Boys" I Replied
"I said I don't want you hanging out with them, your a kook act like one." She replied
"Mom, that's what you think just because we live in figure eight doesn't mean I'm a kook." I said giving a smile, I walked out of the house before she could reply.
"Hey Kie" I Said as I walked up to her
"Hey Lili!" She Replied, we started heading to the dock where the boys would be with the boat.
"Oh, top of the morning to ya" JJ greeted us.
"Goodmorning Boys" Kie replies with a smile.
"Whatcha got? You got some Juice Boxes?" Pope questioned
"You know, just some yogurts, carrot sticks." I replied
"How about my kinda Juice Box?" JJ asked as he held a hand out for me.
"Yeah" I Replied as I took his hand and stepped onto the boat, and held my hand out for Kie.
"Brace for impact" John B says as he began driving away.
"Let me show y'all a party trick" JJ says as he walked to the front of the boat. "Hey, Pope can you go a little faster, please?"
"Oh, God here we go, I'm moving." John B
"It doesn't work, he's tried this like 6,000 times" I Replied taking a sip from my beer.
"I got this, it's gonna work" He yelled from the front of the boat.
"Oh my god your getting beer in my hair" Kiara yelled
"All Right, All right" Pope said as he slowed down a little bit.
"Okay, JJ your done" I said as I put a hand over my face to shield myself from the beer flying everywhere. The motor made an unpleasant rattle and took a hard stop causing us all to fly forward, I fell from where I was sitting and John B flew on top of me.
"holy shit" i groaned holding my head that hit the floor of the boat.
"Sorry Lils" John B groaned as he slowly got off of me, i jumped up and instantly feeling dizzy i ran to the front of the boat.
"are you okay JJ" i yelled
"I think my heals touched the back of my head" He moaned.
"Pope what did you do?" John B asked
"Sandbar. Channel Changed." He replied
"No shit" We all said at the same time, we all laughed but i was still in pain.
"I saved the beer though" JJ Said
"Congrats, JJ" John B Replied sarcastically as Me and Kiara looked at eachother and laughed. Pope walked to the front of the boat "Guys, I think there's a boat down there" He said
"Shut Up" John B Said
"Real Funny Pope" I Said while laughing
"No way" Kie Said
"What?" JJ Questioned looking around
"No, No, No guys im serious theres like a boat down there" Pope pointed out
"No fucking way" I mumbled as I looked down into the foggy water to see a white boat.
"Holy shit, he's right let's go" Kiara said, we all took of the clothes we had on top of our bathing suits and jumped in without hesitation.
"You think there's a dead body down there?" Pope Asked
"Come On Pope!" We all yelled as he jumped in, we all took a deep breath and went underwater. We inspected the boat.
"You guys saw that right?" JJ Asked right when we reached the surface
"Yeah, We did" We all Replied together
"That's a Grady White a new one of those is like 500 gs, easy, that's a primo rig" JJ explained as we all jumped back on the boat.
"Yeah, Yeah that's the boat I saw when I surfed the surge" John B Replied
"You surfed the surge?" I questioned
"That's my boy, Pogue Style" JJ said giving John B a High Five, I rolled my eyes.
"Do we know who's boat that is?" Pope questioned
"No but we're about to find out" John B replied taking out an anchor.
"dude, it's too deep" Said JJ
" only for the weak and feeble JJ" John B groaned
" well I'm not resuscitating you. I'm just making that clear up front" He Replied
"John B?" I said looking at him
"What?" He Replied But before I could answer I was cut off by Pope
"Diver Down fool" He said
"Diver Down" John B Said
"Yeah He is" JJ Said as he pushed John B into the water. We waited and Waited for John B to come back to the surface which was only like 1 minute but felt like hours.
"Should we go get him?" Pope Asked right after he asked the question John B came up to the surface, coughing.
"Oh my god that took forever" Kiara said and we all agreed with her.
"Any Dead bodies?" I asked
"Looting Potential?" JJ added
"No. No, I found this motel key."
"A key?" I asked
"Yes Lilia, a key" He Replied
"Great we salvaged a motel key" JJ Said
"Guys, we should report the wreck to the coast guards, maybe we'll get a finders fee" Kie Suggested
"Yeah, and not work all summer. Thanks Agatha you batch" JJ Replied.
We quickly jumped off the boat and ran to the coastal guards, it was pretty busy.
"I don't think we'll get our chance to talk" I said to the guys
"No we will" John B Said before walking off I looked at Kie and Rolled my eyes.
"Excuse me" John B Said
"Hey Man, We found a boat" JJ yelled talking over the others
"You're gonna wanna hear this." John B Said
"HEY! Calm down" The coast guard yelled
"Come on let's just go" I said to the boys.
"Well that went well" Pope scoffed
"What's the plan?" I asked
"I know how we're gonna find the guy who owns the boat."
"We don't know who's room that is. It could be anyone" Pope informed us
"I'm in" JJ Said throwing the key to Kiara
"Come on! I'll be lookout" She Said
"I'm in" I quickly replied. We all walked back to the boat to get this problem solved.
