Chapter 59: I'm into you now (H)

Alex's new video game had taken a huge hit, especially when everyone in Thailand stayed indoors during the long weeks of self-quarantine. It was a great boom for the gaming industry. The game turned out to be well-received by gamers in Thailand and abroad, but about 45% of the gamers were BL fans, about 30% of the gamers were familiar with the playstyles in similar 4-vs-1 games like Dead by Daylight and Identity V.

Aside from the traditional 4-vs-1 mode in which the Lovebirds tried to escape from the Homewrecker while keeping the Homewrecker at bay, Alex's game also featured a gaming mode in which 8 Lovebirds would actively engage with 2 Homewreckers, the mode was called Duo Homewreckers. There was also a more action-oriented gaming mode similar to Call of Duty Warzone, in which a team of six players (Lovebirds) would face off with another team of six players, all team members were equipped with military weapons and equipments to fight their opponents aside from having the ability to respawn as Homewreckers to boost combat capability for the team after death or change into Homewreckers at will. For those who weren't interested in chasing and fighting, there was a gaming mode in which Homewreckers and Lovebirds coexisted in peace and would engage in a dating simulator game with animated pictures and choices of dialogues to interact with characters.

Currently, there were 32 Lovebirds and 18 Homewreckers featured in the new game. The Lovebirds were composed of: Saifah, Zon, Tutor, Fighter (Why RU, 4 main characters); Pharm, Dean, Win, Team (Until We Meet Again); Fuse, Tee, Book, Frame (Make It Right); Ae, Pete Pichaya, Tin, Can, Tharn, Type, Techno, Kengkla, Tum, Tar (Tharntype, Love By Chance); Korn, Knock (Together With Me, Bad Romance); Kao, Pete (Dark Blue Kiss); Vee, Mark, Gun, Bar, Rama, Nuea (EN of Love). The Homewreckers consisted of: Vasily Belousov/The Snow Corpse, Igor Lichtenstein/The Scientist, Heinrich Schumann/The Gestapo, Caius Lancius Mortemis/The Governor, Marcus Infernum Claudius/The Gladiator, Francesco Evangelista/The Hell Priest, Tybalt Capulet/The Duellist, Gerald Burns/The Fireman; Luis Torres/The Conquistador, Santiago Garcia/The Inquisitor, Ernst Kirchgessner/The Horseman, William Wilson/The Photographer, Ruben Saint-Laurent/The Phantom, Sterling Hodges/The Detective, Jasper Ricketts/The Ripper, Senjiro Sengoku/The Oni, Shigeki Dekisugi/The Drowner, Takeshi Kurosawa/The Shadow.

Alex's game had many downloads and a lot of players. The ranking of this game was 4.8/5 points. The most voted Homewrecker was William Wilson, then Tybalt Capulet was at the second place. This was due to The Photographer's ability to deal 1.5 damage with a single hit and project 0.5 damage after the Camera World collapse, as well as The Photographer's ability to jumpscare his targets. Tybalt was also the most favored Homewrecker because of his ability to place illusion-based traps on Lovebirds and surprise attack them aside from his unique ability of shadow stun. The most voted Lovebird was Pharm because of his cute looks and nimble speed, but his weakness was the 10% debuff speed of decoding when a teammate was downed by the Homewrecker and the the 15% debuff speed of decoding when in the Terror radius of the Homewrecker.

At Tutor's home, Tutor didn't know that he had become one of the four main characters in Alex's game. Saifah, Zon, Fighter were also the main and default characters in the game. Tutor was still at home cooking lunch with Fighter, and he was very happy with his man. He also didn't care what others said about him.

At Pharm's house, Pharm played a game of Alex's video game. In the game, he played as himself, as the real life Pharm and the in-game Pharm were exactly the same in terms of outer appearance and had the same biographies even though there were slight differences. The multiplayer match he participated in had 5 people, in which he played Pharm. The other three players who played as Lovebirds had taken the roles of Dean, Kao, Ae. The Homewrecker of the match was The Conquistador, who carried a large battle axe along with him during the whole match. The Conquistador had two special active skills which were headbutt dash and leaping strike.
