Hiccup's POV

Still in my dad's room, I've been thinking. About nothing actually. I don't know why I keep on frowning everytime I saw my dad laying down here on the bed.

But then deep down in my heart, something tells me to go outside and get some fresh air. For what? Exactly? I snapped out by mom calling my name in a sudden.

"Hiccup!"

"Uh.. Yes?"

Maybe she noticed my mood. Heh. Mothers do know everything.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

I shrugged. "I don't know.."

She smiled in response. Not even a word. But sometimes her smile cheers me up.

"Why don't you go outside and take a little walk? You know.. Get some fresh air.. You look like you need more oxygens.." She chuckled.

I laughed. "Very funny, mom.. But you know, I guess you're right.. I'll be back later.." I stood up and left the room.

I walked through the halls and suddenly heard someone calling my name.

"Hey, Hiccup!"

Surprisingly, it was just Debby, one of the nurses who works here. We've known each other for like a month coz actually, she was one of my dad's nurses.

"Oh, hey 'nurse' Debby.." I joked.

She rolled her eyes.

We were pretty close as friends since I'm never absent on visiting my dad everyday. We joked and talked. Heh. You know, friends. But just friends.

"I told you to call me 'Debby'.." She laughed, carrying a pile of blankets on her arms.

I can say she's pretty sassy for a nurse on her age. She was like 20 for real. Just 3 years older than me. That's probably why we get along each other pretty well.

"How's it going?" I asked, offering a help to carry them.

"As usual.. You?"

"Same as well.." I smiled as I carry half of the blankets.

"You know, you look pale kiddo.. I think you should go get some fresh air." She said. She must have noticed my frown.

"That's what my mom said.." I mumbled.

"Well, you probably should go to the backyard.. It's pretty relaxing back there.." She smiled and grab the blankets I held.

"Alright.. Thanks.. Debby.." I chuckled.

"Now you're talkin.." She grinned.

I walked to the backyard and stood up beside a tree, looking at the sky. I sighed.

"Well, Debby's right.. This is pretty relaxing.." I said to myself.

Something caught my eyes the next few seconds. I saw a girl sitting on the bench. I don't really know what is she looking at but I'm guessing that she's looking at the turtles and fishes.

She was alone, I guess. And I think she's my age. Pretty unusual. What is she doing out here?

I keep on staring at her as if there's nothing else to see here. Then, I realised Debby was standing behind me.

"Woah, what are you doing here?" I asked, startled a bit.

"Looking at someone?" She asked, crossing her arms.

"Eh.. No.." I glanced at the girl but she's gone. I wonder where did she go.

"Admit it, kid.. You were looking at a girl." She laughed.

"I wasn't.."

I lied, I know. But she's always giving me that stare I could never handle. So..

"Okay.. I was.."

She smirked.

"Do you.. Know her?" I asked. Awkwardly.

"Why ask?" She started to walk away so I decide to follow her.

"Nothing.. Just wanna know.. That's all.."

"I do.." She smiled.

"You do? Who is she then?" I'm starting to get curious in a sudden. For no reasons.

"Why don't you ask her yourself? She's staying in room 153." She smiled and went inside her office.

"No.. Wait.. Debby! Argh!" I sighed.

I thought. Room 153, eh? Maybe I could talk to her.. Maybe..
