Bittersweet Marriage Life

13 - Couple

Finally, it's the party day. As what he has promised Eunji, he didn't contact Nicole or recieving her calls. He tried to avoid her as far as possible. Eunji has noticed that Key has soften with her and she also noticed that she has a different feeling for him.

"Are you ready?" Key yelled to Eunji who was still in the bedroom.

"Not yet!" She yelled back as she tried to zip her dress zipper on the back. Key opened the door, just to see Eunji still struggled.

Eunji shrieked when she felt a warm hand on her shoulder.

"Stay still! I help you with this." Eunji looked at her reflexion in the mirror and she saw herself blushing. Though they have been staying close with each other, but this time she felt different. Zipping the dress only took a second. Seeing Eunji got embarrassed, he wanted to tease her, so he only zipped it to the middle of her back.

"Are you done?" She asked.

"Not yet!" He replied as he placed his hands on her waist. 

"What are you doing?"

"Just stay still." His arms trailed around her slim waist. He buried his face into her neck and enhaled her scent. 

"Key-ssi!" She blurted out.

"You have a right to call me 'Kibum'." Then he bit her neck.

"Key!" He lifted his face up and looked at her neck.

"Nice!" He murmured and zipped her dress before left. "I'm waiting you outside." She lifted her hair up to see several hickies on her neck.

"Aish!"

"Oh, you arrived?" Mrs Kim exclaimed as she saw her son and her daughter in-law.

"Nae! Omonim, annyeonhaseyo!" Eunji said as she bowed.

"You look beautiful." The older complained.

As the time went by, many people started to come. Since The Kim Co. is a big company, many partnership came to this party. Key and Eunji linked their arms as they walked into the party. As Mrs Kim was talking with some of her friends with Jin Guk on her side, she noticed a familiar figure walked in.

"That land leech again!" She murmured. 

"Oppa!" A girly voice said as she linked her arm onto Key's.

"Cole!" Key exclaimed and tried to look around since Eunji wasn't around him. He didn't invite her for this party.

"Is she your wife, Key-ssi?" A man asked Key. Nicole smiled. 

"Yes, I'm Kibum's wife!" Out of no where, Eunji replied. "She's just my husband's friend, right Nicole-ssi?" She asked.

"Oh, you're right, Eunji-ssi!" She gritted her teeth. Key really wanted to thank Eunji right now. He really love the way she called him by his real name.

"Right! Nicole, you really like joking around, don't you?"

"I do!" She said and death glared Eunji before smiling innocently to Key's friends.

"What are you doing here?" Key asked after he dragged Nicole to a quiet place.

"Come to your party, obviously." Nicole shrugged. "I always come every year, why can't I come this year?"

"Don't I say we won't see each other?" He started to raise his voice.

"Oppa! Are you raising your voice at me?"

"I am. Cole, seriously, I never thought that you doing that." He started off.

"Doing what?"

"You know yourself. What have you done to Eunji?" He said and Nicole saw the disappointment in his eyes.

"Op..pa!" She stuttered.

"I know everything, Cole. I didn't believe it if I didn't see it with my own eyes. You're too cruel, Cole."

"Oppa!"

"Let's end it here, Cole. I'm sorry."

"Oppa!!"

"Yah! You're so lucky, Key!" Jinwoon, Key's friend told him.

"For?" Key asked.

"For getting a goddess wife. I'm so jealous." Jinwoon said and he got everyone agree with what he said.

Mrs Kim proudly introduced Eunji to everyone. Eunji politely greeted everyone and left a good impression to everyone which made Nicole feel really angry.

After a while, Mrs Kim went to a group of middle-age women and had some talk, leaving Eunji wandered alone. Suddenly, someone grabbed her hand and she turned to look.

"Kibum!" She blurted out.

"You know what? I love the way you call me by my real name." He said as he smiled at her and she found it strange, so she touched his forehead.

"Are you sick? Why are you being so nice all of sudden?"

"I can't be nice to my own wife?"

"Nicole is here. Don't you care about her feeling?" She asked and gestured to Nicole who was sitting at the corner.

"Can we not talking about her?" He said and lowered his head to her level. "We're couple and everyone knew it." Then he gave her a surprise peck on her lips which earned a squeal of awe from the participants.

*What is he doing? Weird!*

"I think I make the right decision for making Kibum married Eunji."
