Bittersweet Marriage Life

1 : Obligation

"Andwae, umma! I'm not going to married." Key said to his mother after what she has said.

"And you think you can refuse it, huh, Kim Kibum?" Mrs Kim asked with a smirk.

"But I already have Nicole."

"I won't take that girl as my daughter-in-law." She said.

"I can't see what's wrong with her." Key said as he sat beside her.

"But I see. You have freedom enough, Kibum. Count it as your luck that I even let you date that girl."

"Umma!" He whined. "Then tell me why I have to marry the girl you found for me."

"She's a good girl. Oh and her parents used to help us when our company was in trouble."

"But.."

"If you refuse, okay then." She snapped her fingers and a little boy revealed from upstairs, pulling a luggage.

"Sehun?" Key exclaimed. Sehun was the housekeeper's grandson and he's also close with Key.

"Hyung, I'm sorry." He said as he bowed. "But your mother asked me to." He smiled sheepishly.

"Choose wisely, Kibum. You're clever enough." Mrs Kim said as she headed upstairs.

"Umma!"

"Eunji-ah!" A male voice was heard from behind. Eunji turned around and smiled.

"Yunho Oppa!" She called him. He took a seat on the bench beside her.

"Eunji! Are you sure?" He asked.

"Yes, I am." She replied.

"We can call this marriage off if you want."

"No need to do that oppa. Isn't this what umma and appa have wished for?"

"It is, but..."

"Count it as a payback then. The Kim Family had done so much for us after our parents died."

"Eunji!"

"I'm okay!"

Suddenly, they heard another voice.

"Yah! You can't get in!" They heard Changmin, her second brother, voice.

"Just once, please." Eunji and Yunho rushed to see Changmin and a guy struggling with each other.

"Yah!" Yunho yelled and everyone freeze.

"Eunji!" That guy walked toward Eunji.

"Stop Hoya." She said calmly.

"Hyung!" Changmin started to talk. "I tried to stop him, but..." Yunho cut him.

"I understand." Then he turned to Eunji. "You want to settle it?" She nodded.

"Then okay!" Yunho said with a smile.

"But hyung..."

"Stop complaining and come inside." He said and dragged his younger brother inside.

"So what do you want, Hoya?" She asked.

"Eunji." He held out his hand.

"Don't touch me." She said and took a step backward.

"O-okay!" He said and put his hand back.

"What do you want, Hoya?"

"Can we..." Before he could finish his question, she cut it.

"We can't. Like I always said, we cannot get back together. You already have Bomi."

"But it isn't love."

"You don't love her, but she already has your child. You can't just tell her to abort it." Then she felt a hard slap on her face.

Min appeared out of nowhere and seeing his sister got slapped, Changmin couldn't stay still.

"Stay still, Min!" Yunho said annoyingly.

"Hyung! That girl slapped our Eunji." He complained.

"Eunji is matured enough to settle thing. Just shut up!"

"ME to abort it?" That girl asked.

"Bomi!" Hoya said and pull her back. She just came in and only heard the last few words.

"Oppa! Stay back!" Then she turned to Eunji. "What are you thinking, Jung Eunji? Abort it? I can't believe that those words came out from your mouth."

"Listen, Bomi!" She tried to calm Bomi down.

"I have enough of listening. Don't you feel ashamed? He's your ex-boyfriend and he already has a child with someone else."

"Yoon Bomi!" Eunji said. "Look! I didn't ask him to come. He came by himself and what was I suppose to do?"

"Just take your husband back." Eunji said, about to go inside the house. "Oh, right! I forgot to tell you, Bomi! Tell your husband not to come around me again because I'm going to married soon." Then she walked into the house, ignoring Hoya's shock face and Bomi's grinning.
