Bittersweet Marriage Life

8 - What?!

It has been a month since Key and Eunji had came back to Seoul. They both acted like nothing has happened. Mrs Kim got them a condominium. They didn't hire any maid, so they could slept in separate room without Mother Kim's acknowledgement. Sometimes, Key would stay at Nicole's.

It's another typical day. Key didn't come home last night. She definitely knew where he going.

Eunji didn't feel really well lately. She didn't feel like eating and often felt nausea.

"Unnie! Are you okay?" Naeun, her friend and secretary, asked her worriedly.

"Umm!" Eunji nodded slightly. "Prepare everything! The meeting is starting soon."

"Nae!"

"Do you have any question for today's meeting?" Eunji asked the whole participants.

"No!" They all said in unison.

"Then our meeting is end. You can dismiss now." She ended the meeting and everyone got out of the room one by one.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Naeun as they're going to the canteen for lunch.

"For the million time of today, I'm okay, Son Naeun." Eunji replied. Naeun has been asking her since the meeting has ended.

"You look so pale."

"Here your lunch, unnie!" Naeun said and placed a place of Kimchi Fried Rice in front of her. Just smelling the kimchi, Eunji covered her mouth and ran to the nearest restroom and puked.

"Are you okay?" Naeun said as she pat Eunji's back. "You should take a leave. I'll drive you home." She said. Eunji nodded tiredly.

Eunji came out after a few minutes when Naeun texted her that she's in front of the building.

"Eunji!" A male voice was said behind her. She turned around.

"What are you doing here, Hoya?" She asked and gave him her expressionless face.

"I want to see you." He answered and before she could say anything else, Naeun called her.

"Unnie!" SHe called and Eunji turned around and nodded.

"I need to go!" She told Hoya and left. Eunji walked toward Naeun when she saw a big advertisement board was about to fall on Naeun.

"Naeun! Beware!" She shouted and pushed Naeun out of the way.

"Unnie!"

"Eunji!"

Eunji was sent to the hospital with the help of Hoya, but he has to leave due to his work. Naeun searched in Eunji's contact and called her brothers.

"Where is she? Is she okay?" Yunho asked as he's panting.

"She's still in the emergency room." Naeun answered and looked down in guilty. 

"What happened?" He asked.

"Oppa! I'm sorry!" She said and looked down. "Unnie didn't feel well. I was about to take her home. I was waiting her in front of the building when a big advertisement board was about to fall. Unnie pushed me out of the way and that board fell onto her." She started to cry. "Oppa! I'm really sorry."

"I understand." He said and patted her head.

Suddenly, the door opened and the doctor came out.

"Who is Kim Eunji's family?" The doctor asked and Yunho replied.

"Me. I am her brother. Is she okay?"

"She's okay. She needs some rest and eat a lot of nutrient food for her and her baby."

"Nae?" Yunho and Naeun exclaimed.

"Cogratulation, your sister is pregnant."

Eunji was awake and sat on the bed. She shook her head in disbelief after what the doctor has just told her. Yunho has told Naeun to go back since the lunchbreak was over.

"Eunji-ah!" He called her as he entered the room.

"Oppa!"

"It's his child, right?" She nodded. "How will you tell him?"

"I don't know."

Yunho switched on the light in Eunji and Key's condominium as he supported Eunji by his side.

"Sit!" He said to her. "What do you want to eat?"

"Anything is fine!" She replied. Suddenly, the door opened and Key came in.

"You're home?" Yunho asked. "I need to talk to you."

"Talk to me?" Key asked and pointed to himself.

"Follow me." 

"Do you still contact with Nicole?" Yunho asked. He nodded. "You still contact with her?" He repeated and raised her voice.

"What is the problem?" Key asked back like it's not a big deal.

"Are you saying that it's not a matter?" Yunho asked and grabbed his collar. "You're married and you still with that girl?"

"She's my girlfriend."

"But my sister is your wife. Break up with her."

"Why should I?"

"Eunji is pregnant."
