26 - Avoiding

2 days later...

"Mommy!" Siwan yelled as he ran to Eunji and wrapped his arm around her neck. "I'm back!" He planted a kiss on her cheek.
"Siwan! Ppo ppo!" Then he pecked her lips. "Who do you come with?"
"Daddy!" He replied. "Mommy! Where are you going?" He asked as he saw many clothes were lying on the floor.
"Mommy is going to leave you." She jokingly replied.
"Mommy!" Tear welled in his tear. "Mommy is leaving me?"
"Mommy is just kidding." She embraced him and sat him on her laps. "Uljima! A good boy don't cry." Suddenly..
"Wifey!" Key exclaimed as he entered the room. She pretended that she didn't hear and rocked Siwan back and forth to comfort him. 

"Oh! What are you doing?" He asked.
"I'll go to Paris tomorrow for a fashion show." She replied and avoided his gaze. He noticed a cold tone in her answer.
"Siwan!"
"Nae!"
"Can you go outside? Daddy need to talk to mommy." The little boy nodded before going outside and closed the door.

"What's wrong?" He asked befoe sat down on the floor and wrapped his arms around her waist. She just shook his head and continued packing her clothes. "What did I do wrong again?"

"You did nothing." She replied flatly.
"I'm sure it's something." She removed his arms before standing up.
"I'm tired. I don't want to talk." She zipped her luggage before pushing it to the corner.

Dinner was going on silently. No one talk. Siwan can only looked at his parents innocently and confusedly. 
"Mommy! I can eat by myself. You should eat too." Siwan broke the silence and took the spoon from Eunji's hand.
"Oh, eat well." She patted his head and picked up her spoon and ate. 
"Nae!" He nodded before stuffing his mouth. Key chewed on his food slowly while looking at his quiet wife. 
"Mommy!"
"Huh?"
"Granny asked that when will you get me some dongsaengs?" He looked at his parents cutely.
"Soon, Siwan!" Key replied.
"Maybe not, Siwan!" Eunji added and glared at her husband.

"Good night, mommy! Good night daddy!" Siwan said before shutting his eyes. Eunji made sure that he's sleeping soundly, she removed her hand and back-facing them. Key opened his eyes immediately as he felt the soft hand under his hand was removed. He let out a sigh and looked at her back.

"We need to talk." Key said as soon as he dragged Eunji to the living room.
"I don't have anything to talk about." Eunji replied as she's about to head to their bedroom.
"I'm sure you have something to talk about. If not, you won't be acting like this." He grabbed her shoulders and made her facing him.
"I'm tired. I need to sleep." She faked a yawn. She shoved off his hand and headed to the room.
"Yah! Jung Eunji!" Before he knew it, she already closed the door and he threw himself onto the couch before ruffled his hair in frustration.

"Attention Flight 221 passengers, please now enter the gate 42 and board. Thank you!"

Upon the announce, Eunji bent down to Siwan's level.
"Be a good boy when mommy is not with you. Okay?" She cupped the little boy's cheek and planted a kiss on his lips.
"Nae!" He replied as Eunji used her thumbs to wipe his tear. 
"Don't cry and promised mommy to be a good boy." She repeated.
"Siwan will be a good boy!" He saluted her.
"That's my boy. Ppo ppo!" After a peck, she stood up.
"Take care of him and yourself!" She reminded Key. "I'm leaving." Key gave a bear hug and kissed her forehead.
"Siwan! Annyong!" She waved to Siwan.
"Be safe and sound!" She nodded as she tried to hold back her tear.

Key and Siwan watched as Eunji entered the gate without looking back. He knew she would cry if she looked back.
"Mommy!" Siwan yelled. "Don't forget to miss me!" She gave a nod without looking at him. "Mommy! I love you!" She nodded again.
"Let's go back, Siwan!" He held out his hand and Siwan accepted while looking at his mother's back.
"Daddy! When will mommy come back?" He asked.
"Few days more."
"I miss mommy already." He mumbled.
"Daddy miss your mommy too."
