Haneul excitedly exited her dorm room, a camera on her hand. Her uncle had reserved her a recording room for her new song cover, and she couldn't wait to see the studio.

"So, guys. We are on our way to JYPe!" She grinned happily towards her camera, as if she was talking to her viewers.

Haneul recorded her way silently to the building, humming a few songs softly.

"Here we are!" She said, greeting JimJim before entering through the glass doors.

Haneul quickly found her way to the reserved studio where she happily pushed the door open.

If it wasn't for the blur of the glass, she would have prepared herself for what was about to come.

Once she had open the door, she was surprised to see all of Stray Kids there.

She made a mental note to edit this out of her video.

"What are they doing here, Chan?" Haneul hissed at him. Chan rubbed his nape.

He promised Haneul to help her record her new song. But she didn't expect him to bring company.

"They wanted to come, too. So, I let them." He explained, grinning cheekily. "Besides, we're all curious."

"Not me though, I just wanted to piss you off." Haneul rolled her eyes when she heard Seungmin. He leaned forward from the couch, getting a full view of her.

"Oh, the devil's here." She cursed, shooting him daggers with her eyes.

He smirked. "Yeah, I was asked to bring you back to your home, princess." He retaliated, earning a groan from the girl.

"Let's just get this over with." She said and went into the booth. She placed her camera to the side where it got the perfect angle to view her singing.

She put on her headphones impatiently, mostly because she was excited but also because she doesn't want to see any more of Seungmin's smug face.

She swore to herself that one day, she's going to swipe him off the face of the earth.

"Okay, let's start." Chan's voice echoed through the booth. Haneul nodded and gave him a quick thumbs up.

The song, 'Winter Flower' by Younha started playing. Hanuel bobbed her head to the beat, a small smile forming on her lips.

The first verse came soon and she took a deep breath before singing.

Seungmin would've hated to admit it, but he was mesmerized. This wasn't what he expected from her, a girl that literally came out of nowhere.

"Woah, she sounds beautiful. Don't you think so?" Jisung gasped as he leant over to gossip with Minho.

Seungmin's ear twitched as he heard the two. He snapped back to reality, closing the mouth he didn't realized had opened.

He cleared his throat, leaning back on the couch. "She's ok.." he said, trying hard to keep a straight face.

Fortunately, Jisung didn't mind him and kept his focus on Haneul.

Haneul, who had first closed her eyes when she started singing, opened them and looked over to the boys.

She eyed their reaction, satisfied that they were surprised and astounded by her vocals. Her eyes moved to one by one, until she stopped at Seungmin, who was at the corner of the studio.

He had his arms crossed, a leg over the other, and a blank look on his face. His ears were a little pink though, but Haneul didn't see it as she just sent a sly smirk towards him before focusing on her song.

"That was great, Haneul!" The boys praised as soon as she stepped out of the booth when recording was over.

"I even had goosebumps over your high notes." Jisung grinned, clapping his hands loudly.

Haneul laughed as she pulled her head back, flustered. "Thanks. That means a lot." She said. "You have amazing vocals too, just so you know."

Jisung's eyes crinkled as blushed at the compliment, hiding under Minho's arm.

"Hey! What about us?" Jeongin pouted.

Hanuel put her hand on the side of her mouth, looking over to Jeongin. "You. The. Best." She mouthed before they giggled to themselves.

Seungmin scoffed. "Weirdos."

Haneul snapped her head to his direction. Fortunately, her neck didn't break. "Asshole." She grummbled.

"What's with the song anyway? Are you depressed?" He raised a brow at the girl.

"Why? Are you concered?"

"Here they go again.." Chan sighed to himself as he slapped his palm against his forehead, stressed over the duo that doesn't, and probably wouldn't, stop arguing.

"No," Seungmin answered, smirking right after. "It just looked funny seeing liked you looked like you were desperate of help."

Those words stung directly at Hanuel's heart. It was so accurate.

She dreams of freedom. She wants freedom.
She needs freedom. She wants to escape all her troubles, her depression.

But she held up her chin high, her gaze never faltered despite how bad Seungmin's words hit her. "What's funnier," she smirks as she flips her hair. "Is seeing you trying to get to billboard."

Seungmin gasped in disbelief.

The boys were also shocked. But when they looked over Chan, he sent them a knowing look that meant she didn't actually mean it.

"You didn't." Seungmin glares, his eyebrows knitting together.

"Oh, yes I did."

After everyone's daily dose of Tom and Jerry quarrels, they decided to go for lunch.
Haneul however, went over to eat with Twice that day, leaving a pouty and whiny Chan.

But she didn't care. Now, she was seated in between her two besties, Nayeon and Sana.

"How was today?" Jihyo asked from across her.

Haneul's eyes sparkled in delight, excited to tell them about her recording when she suddenly thought of Seungmin.

Her smile immediately disappeared as she groaned her guts out while closing her eyes shut.

"I don't even wanna." She takes deep sharp breaths before banging her head on the table.

"Woah. What happened to you?" Nayeon jokes as she pokes Haneul on her shoulders.

"Kim 'Devil' Seungmin happened." She groans once more, shuddering slightly at the thought of his annoying ass smirk.

The girls eyed it each other knowingly, their eyes sparkling in interest.

"Oh?" Jihyo smirks lightly. "Do tell."

Haneul continues to rant about how annoying his smirk was and how they didn't click on the first day. She told them about the words they exchange at each other and how badly those made her want to rip his throat out and feed it to the dogs. All those without her noticing the glint in the girls' eyes.
