Beyond The Walls (The Maze Runner)

Chapter 1- Arrival

I wake up gasping for air with a feeling of being lifted up. Where am I?. I look around to see boxes that have to letters WCKD marked on them. I decide to try and stand up to go over to the boxes and see if I can find any water or any protection for where I am going. My feet are barely able to help me stand up but I slowly made my way to a box in the corner. I look down at the box which had a knife on it. Perfect. Then out of nowhere the box came to a rough stop which made me fall on the ground. The doors of the box open revealing light.

"What does he look like"

I heard someone say the I felt a slight drop as if someone has dropped down in the box with me

"It's a girl" I heard a British sounding voice say

"I call dibs"

"Shut up you shank"

Where am I. Why can't I remember anything.

I look up to see a large group of boys around 30 of them staring down at me. What is happening? I look to see that I still had the knife in my hand. I pointed the knife at the boy who had dropped down. He had blonde hair he looked 17-18.

"Woah greenie, put the knife down" he says

"Where am I" where the only words that could come out of my mouth.

"Your in the glade, I know you must be scared and confused but it's ok we've all had this happen to us, do you remember your name"

"No, Why can't I Remember it" I said pointing the knife at him as he walked a little closer.

"It's ok, I'm Newt, it has happened to all of us just put the knife down and we will help you out of the box"

I sat there for a minute but decided to let them help me. I dropped the knife and slowly walked over to the blonde boy.

"Guys help her out"

The blonde boy said as a boy reached his hand down for me to grab. I looked up at the boy, he looked mad and had different looking eyebrows he looked around 16-17 years old.

"Well do you want out or not" he said in a harsh tone

"No need to be a bitch about it" I said knowing we were not going to get along

All of the boys laughed

"Just grab my hand I don't have all shucking day"

I grabbed his hand as he helped me out of the box. I pushed through the group of boys to see huge walls. The walls had an opening. That must be my way out of here. I took off running as fast as I could to the walls

"We have got a runner" I heard the same British boy say

I was almost there till I got pushed down.

"What the hell" I said

"No going beyond the walls" I looked up to see the same bitch as before

"Don't tell me what I can and can't do"

By this time all the boys were surrounding us.

"Yay we got a sassy one" I heard from the audience

"Chuck, get find this girl a bed"

"Ok" I heard as I saw a small boy appear from the others

"Let's go" he said in a sweet voice. He looked younger than anyone here

I decided to follow the boy to a building

"This is the homestead"

He walked me over to a hammock

"You can sleep here next to my hammock. I'll make sure none of those shanks try to mess with you" he said in the sweetest voice. I could tell me and him will be close friends.

"Thank you"

"No problem Alby will show you around tomorrow"

"Alby?" I asked

"He's our leader"

I nod my head.

"Tonight we will have a surprise just for you" The little boy said exited

"Ok sounds cool"

There that's the end of the first chapter. Yes I know I suck at writing but I'm bored as hell. Anyways to anyone who read this I hope you enjoyed :)
