Beyond The Walls (The Maze Runner)

Chapter 10- Trapped

The next few weeks went by fast and easy.  We had a new greenie come up name Warren.  He didn't seem like the person type he just ignored everyone and did his job.  Gally and I would sneak of into the woods and make out. Yeah I know we sound like children hiding from their parents that they're dating.  But it's for The best the glade is peaceful and we don't need anything interrupting it

Today Alby had went out with Minho in the maze to do I don't know what.  They won't tell me. 

It was around time for the runners to be back which was wierd because we haven't seen Minho or Alby come back yet

All of the gladers surrounded the walls

"They should be back by now the walls are about to close" I said

"It's fine they'll make it"

The walls started to close

No this can't be happening
We can't loose Minho and Alby
No

Then we saw Minho dragging Albys body near the doors

"COME ON MINHO" everyone shouted

The walls were getting smaller

I knew they weren't going to make it in time

No no No this can't happen

I couldn't take it I started to run into the maze to help them when somebody held me back.  It was Gally

"NO LET ME GO" I screamed at the top of my lungs trying to break free from his grip

"NO THOMAS GET BACK HERE" I heard looking up

Thomas had ran into the maze and the walls shut

"NO THIS CANT BE HAPPENING" I screamed falling to my knees in tears

I just lose one of my best friends
And I couldn't save them

"Come one y/n let's get you laid down" I heard Gally say

"No I'm not going anywhere" I said with no emotion in my voice

I couldn't feel anything in my body
I had lost someone I love dearly
They were gone
I would never see them again
This is my fault
I could have helped him

"Y/n" I heard Newt say

"No"

I knew he would try to get me to lay down too

He sighed and walked away

"Y/n" I heard chuck say as he sat down next to me

He was the only one I wanted to talk to

He was the one I trusted in this situation because him and Thomas have gotten close

"It's all my fault I could have helped him" I sobbed

"no y/n it's not your fault"

"Yes it is" I cried even louder

"You know who Minho is right, he's gunna make it he's a fighter and he's got Thomas"

He was right
Minho wouldn't give up

"Hey chuck" I said looking up at him with teary eyes

"Yeah"

"Can you stay with me out here" I asked

"Sure"

The rest of the night was spend with Chuck comforting me.  He was one of the best people I've had in my life.  I don't know what I would do without him
