Note: this chapter is about y/n and the jobs she tried out
Slicers- The first day I got to work as a slicer, well not got to, had to. I have to admit it was one of the most fun things that have happened. Not like that, no I don't like hurting animals. I was assigned to cut up a baby pig for dinner that night. Well, that didn't really happen like that. I got upset with Winston and ended up setting the baby pig free. All the gladers spent the whole day trying to get the pig back. It was hilarious everyone kept falling and slipping
Med-jacks- Lets just day this job is not for me. One slicer came in with a huge cut on his arm. I was assigned to bandage it but I ended up passing out.
Track-hoes- This was by far one of the hardest jobs I had to do. I kept messing up stuff. I almost had a freaking heat stoke it was so hot outside. Not to mention Zart gives me weird looks
Cook- This job I was decent at. I fixed lunch and supper for the Gladers. As far as I know none of them have gotten food poisoning yet. I also burned my arm a few times. It was fun hanging out with FryPan though he felt like my personal diary I could tell him everything
Builders- I was good at this job if I do say so myself. It was fun spending the day with Gally and watching him get mad at people. I had to build a chair which took a while since I had no clue what I was doing, but I finished it and I am proud of myself for it
Sloppers- I hate this job. I had to clean all day I felt like a maid. That's all I have to say let's not get into detail about what I had to clean up...
Baggers- Um yeah no I faked an injury to get out of that one
I didn't get to try the runners I was kinda disappointed but relived, I am curious about the maze but also scared about it
Out of ever job I would prefer cook or builder. They both let me be "creative" in my own way. I could tell Winston is still kinda upset about the pig...
I have been enjoying writing a lot lately and had a lot of fun writing this chapter.
