Some simple things to take note of.
Please read them because I won't be answering anyone who asks me about it further on in the story. It's all here and if I have to add anything then I will.

Firstly this book is my creation in the wuxia genre. If you don't know that it is .... Wuxia literally means "martial heroes" and it is a genre of Chinese fiction concerning the adventures of martial artists in ancient China.
So yes, majority of the things in this book is from my imagination so it's going to be out of the norm.
Also....I've implemented something else. Normally in wuxia novels the character's name is usually written according to the Chinese format of "surname before name". I've decided to keep that format so for example, a character with the name Shanghai Nian, the first name is Nian.
So Shanghai Nian, Nian Shanghai...point is the first name is Nian.
Normally when writing wuxia I found that both the name and surnames are used throughout the entire series but quite frankly when I read the novels I usually just read the first name because the both names seem like too much to read and pronounce so I've decided to not put all of you through that mobo-jobo.
I'll introduce the characters with their full name and then I'd just use their first name afterwards.
I'll also use a variety of names so that you don't get confused about who is who.
When I introduce characters whose names are going to be hard to pronounce I'll do a pronunciation at the end...obviously my Chinese is not going to be on par since I'm a full blooded English speaker so naturally I'll break up the words to suit the English language. I know most of my readers are English speakers so I'll try making this as easy as possible.
Honestly speaking some of the names in Chinese are hard to pronounce and so we're doing it the English way....however the syllables look and sound to you by all means don't give yourself a headache trying to figure it out and tie your tongue. Pronounce it however you feel like.
