Jin got on me for not being active enough on social media. I am active just more discretely than the other members. That is neither here nor there, now I am on Weverse and Twitter. Looking at the pictures, artwork, comments and questions Army posts there. I see a lot of really good artwork, really good cartoons of us.
Nibbling on some of Jin's candy I see a picture on our twitter timeline. I look at the picture really closely. The picture is a pregnant woman and an older couple. It has been a few months clearly, but I know that woman, that is Athena. A very pregnant Athena about 6 or maybe sevens months.
"HHYYYUUNNGG!!!!" I am not sure who I am screaming for but who ever shows up first should work.
"You are clearly not dead so what the hell is your problem." Suga walks in not as upset as I thought he would be.
"Look who I found." I move over so he can look at the screen. I see him squint at the screen before his eyes bug out a bit.
"Shit?!?!" he gets up and grabs Jin out of the hallway as he walks by.
"What the hell Suga?" We point to the screen and Jin smiles.
"Hey, its Jimin's friends from America. I remember he showed me the picture of the old people on the plane. He is gonna be sad to see they have passed away." Suga rolled his eyes and pushed Jin closer to the computer.
"Look closer old man." Jin sucked his teeth but he did, and you can see when it clicks for him.
"Oh my God she's pregnant!" Jin rubs his hands through his hair. I can see him trying to process the information.
"I believe we need to have a group meeting. Don't say a word until we are all together." Jin is unusually serious as Suga and I nod and leave to go get the others.
Ok in hindsight having the meeting in a conference room at the company, not smart. Also, not smart was not be prepared to pull Jimin off manager Bob.
"OK, so Jimin have you spoken to Athena?" Jin asks but you would have to be blind not to see how upset he is.
"You know I haven't. Why?" He has a skeptical look on his face, and I can tell he is getting a little annoyed. Annoying Jimin can be fun, I do it often. Looking around at the others and almost everyone is confused. Hobi, Tae, and Joon are thoroughly confused. Jimin looks annoyed and Suga looks well unbothered.
"What exactly did you do during the storm?" Well I'm out, I get up and head towards the door.
"Sit Down Kookie." Suga ordered. I did not sit down but I didn't leave either cause now all eyes are on me, except Jimin. He is now more than a little annoyed looking firmly at Jin.
"Minding my grown ass business. Why, what concern is it of yours." His voice is hard, and the others still look confused but Joon speaks up.
"What is going on Jin? What do you know?" Now everyone is looking at Jin, but he is looking at Jimin. The quiet was suffocating me, the air was thick with tension and confusion.
"Athena is pregnant." It just kind of ran out of my mouth. I slapped my hand over my mouth and before I knew it a blur of blue and white flew past me.
"Fuck, we need to catch him." Namjoon jumps up and so do the rest of us running out into the hallway to catch Jimin.
