Missing in the Storm

Chapter 8

Jimin's POV

Last night was awesome, sex with her gets better every time we do it. It's going to be so hard to leave her when the time comes. These days with her have given me the opportunity to be anonymous and meet new people. Granted not a lot of people. There is a lot I will take from this experience and I will never be the same.

As I hold Athena while she sleeps, I wonder what her future holds? What she wants to happen? How she will change? Only for the better, I hope. Its gonna hurt knowing one day she will be in someone else's arms, like this.

Even though there is no dating clause in our contracts, we just don't. Relationships require a lot of energy and time that I don't have to give right now. Between rehearsals, interviews, photoshoots, traveling, and Army I don't have it. I honestly want to try with her though and I haven't had that feeling before.

She snuggles back into me and it feels great. I rub my hand over her tummy and gently kiss the top of her head. After our first time I have been pulling out in an attempt to not get her pregnant. Not the most effective method I know. Right now, I don't care one way of the other if she is pregnant. I don't think it's fair to her or a child to have me in their life right now, no matter how I feel. Then I hear an annoying click, a hum of the power coming back on back on.

I gently slide out of bed an add another log to the fire. I know I can just turn the heat on but that would mean admitting this is over. "It's not fair, you should be as sore as I am." I smile and climb back into bed with Athena.

"Who says I'm not?" I laugh at the skeptical look on her face. "What?!? It could happen." She laughs with me as I pull her closer.

"You know if the power is on the central heat is on?" We share a sad smile as I shake my head. "I'm not ready yet, but maybe we can watch a movie. You know just relax today?" She nods an gets comfortable in my arms.

"I know you don't want to, but we should at least turn your phone on. We also need to check the news, then we can hide from the world." I frown a little knowing that she is right. I've been 'missing' for almost a week and I know the guys are worried.

I turn my phone on and immediately regret it. I have so many notifications and missed calls. I hear a giggle and look over at Athena. She shows me her phone and it's Namjoon, Jin, and Suga doing a Vlive letting Army know we are OK.

She isn't laughing at them though she is laughing at me. "You really are adorable when you pout." I smirk and let me eyes roam over her body. Even though she is covered head to toe in a comforter, it is still a sight to see. "I am sure you a well aware that I'm more than adorable."

Just as I am about to reach for her, my phone rings and the smile drops from my face. I'm not ready yet. She smiles softly and slides out the bed and heads to the bathroom. I enjoy the view of her soft round ass as she walks across the room, before taking a deep breath and answering my phone.

"Hey Jimin!!" I see Jungkook, Hobi and Taehyung smiling at me. I know they miss me, but their timing is horrible. I think Athena is about to get a hot shower and that is where I want to be.

"Hey guys. I see you all survived." I smile at them; I miss them too. They smile and begin talking all at once about what they did to pass time during the storm.

"We should be able to leave and get you in a day or so." Hobi said with a smile. I smile too but I guess they can tell it's halfhearted. "You can always keep in touch with her. It's not like you can't call her or visit." I nod and smile, Hobi always has an answer.

"So, what have you two done to pass the time?" Jungkook had a mischievous look on his face, the child is fishing. I laugh at his efforts, there is no reason to tell him that. "Card games, board games, talking and cooking. Nothing for you to worry about." We all laugh.
