"I'm ready to go" i sat next to calum lifting my foot on to the sofa and retied my shoe. "You sure? We can stay longer if you want to?" He said leaning closer to me like he did the night of the party."I'll go tell Cleo I'm going home." I said patting his arm and getting up. "You and Calum are getting pretty cosy." Cleo giggled wiggling her eyebrows at me. "Oh haha you're so funny. I'm going home now" Cleo's facial expression went from mischievous to worried almost instantly. "What? I'm sorry Erin I didn't mean to upset you" she said pulling me in for a hug.
"No it's not that stupid. Me and Calum are going for ice cream and he's going to walk me home." I smiled. "So that's who you were texting and that's why you're all smiley" she said grinning.
"Bye guys" I shouted getting bye's and see you laters from everyone. "Come on then batman a promise is a promise and you owe me ice cream"

Wednesday evening and Cleo and i were sat at the players bench on the field waiting for the second quarter of the game to start. Some how the coach let us sit on the players bench without moaning. How? I have no clue. Cleo gave Luke a hug quickly before he went onto the pitch and Calum came towards the players bench throwing his jacket down next to me.
"Don't be shit" i quipped a slight smirk making its way onto my face. "I'll try not to be." He said rolling his eyes and letting a chuckle. He hadn't played for the rest of the game he'd been messing around with the other boys at the side of the pitch.
"Come on Luke!" Cleo shouted standing by me. "Shit, shit, shit! Go on Calum!!" She shouted again as calum got the ball from Luke. "It's nearly the end of the quarter! They need this point to win!" Cleo said shaking me by the arm. "Come on Calum!" I shouted jumping up and down a little. Hey I get excited you can't blame me.
As soon as Calum scored the point everyone supporting started to shout and clap. All the boys jumped on Calum and coach jumped around laughing to himself. The final whistle was blown and the crowd roared again knowing that we'd won. The boys shook the hands of the opposing team and made their way back towards us patting Calum on the back and grabbing their stuff to go for a shower.
"You weren't shit" i said giving him a small smile. "I told you I'd try not to be" he said back with a grin on his face. "I'm going for a shower, meet me out front after?" He said picking up his stuff. "Aye aye captain. Out front don't forget about me" I laughed and wondered off to Cleo.

I waited a good 25 minutes before Calum came out of the changing rooms. His backpack in one hand and his football jacket in the other. "You know the players bus left already right? They're going to Ashley's if you wanna go?" I asked pulling at the straps on my backpack. "Well i was going to ask you if you wanted to come over andwatch a movie. My parents are at some work thing for the night." He said slipping on his jacket. I nodded and smiled at him dropping my mum a quick text telling her that i was going to a friends to watch a movie and i might be home a little later than usual depending on when the movie finished.
The walk to Calum's was silent. Not an awkward silence but as soon as we left the school gates a silence fell between us. On the way to his i found out that he only lives a street over from me, once at his we went straight upstairs and into the attick. "Are you an only child?" I asked watching him throw his jacket and bag down onto the floor. "No, my older sister Mali lives with us but shes probably with her boyfriend." He smiled tugging my backpack off of me and putting it with his. "I so want the attick as my bedroom." I said turning round in a cirlce. It was huge. His bed, a desk and a wardrobe were at one side of the room and at the other there was a sofa and a TV. "I have my own bathroom too, are you jealous yet?" he said laughing.
"Yes, please swap houses with me" I said pouting. He laughed and kicked his shoes off sitting on the sofa. "Ass." I muttered slipping off myconverse and sitting beside him. "Did you just call me an ass?" He said trying to stiffle a laugh. "Yes. Ass." I said crossing my arms. He laughed again and pushed me by the shoulder so that i fell onto my side on the sofa. "See this is why you're an ass." I whined sitting up and putting my legs over his.
"An ass who brought you hot chocolate, ice cream and has walked you home a lot recently." He said matter of factly. "True" I smiled. "So whats the real reason you didn't want to go to Ashley's tonight?" I asked folding my arms across my chest again. Sometimes i wonder about Calum, he's either really confident around me, or he stutters like theres no tomorrow.
"I just didn't feel like sitting around half the team and their girlfriends." He shrugged. "It all gets a bit boring when you're on your own." he shrugged again. "So you'd rather spend the night with me?" I furrowed my eyebrows. "Yeah" I blushed slightly feeling the heat rise to my cheeks i dipped myhead sligtly. "I'll pick the movie." He blurted breaking the silence once again.
