"So nothing's happened between you guys?" What we do isn't their business. "Nope, nothing." I shrugged. Cleo smiled and turned her attention to her phone, obviously texting Luke. "Maybe Luke and I could create some kind of, i don't know something to bring you two together?" She suggested. I felt really bad not telling her what had actually happened between me and Calum. Its not like we're in a relationship? We kissed and well, we told each other that we like each other, its nothing she needs to know right? To Calum.
This is weird.
I went back into conversation with Cleo, we decided we were going to go for coffee and then meet up with the boys later on. Me and Calum haven't really spoke an more about how we feel, how am i supposed to act around the boys if, what we do isn't their business.
From Calum.
What is?
To Calum
Sneaking around..
From Calum.
Don't worry Erin, we'll sort it all out, i promise.
After that i didn't reply, i felt a lot more confident in us. Us. That sounds so weird. Me and Calum. Us. Together. That didn't actually sound half bad. "You know, its cute how you day-dream about him Erin." Cleo smiled taking a sip of her coffee. "I've never seen you like this over a boy" She grinned. "Please don't meddle with this Cleo, if anything happens it happens, but i don't want it to be forced." I said trying to sound as convincing as i could.
"I wont but if something does happen and you guysdo end up together please, promise me you wont split up because of where you both choose to go to college." She said giving me a sympathetic smile. What would i do without him?

"So basically you guys are just weird, fighting over the last slice of pizza." I laughed. Ashton and Mikey had just had a full on fight over a slice of pizza. Insanity at its finest. Calum was late, a reason i don't know. When he got here he looked extremely tired, his hair was a mess and his eyes were were rolling back on themselves like he was going to fall asleep right there and then.
"Man, you look like you've just had sex." Mikey sniggered. The comment sent my stomach funny. "Sorry, i was babysitting my cousin and had be running round after him for hours." He said sitting down on the sofa next to me, his arm resting on the back of the sofa behind me. "Smooth." I whispered, earning a small chuckle and a smirk from him. "Thanks" He said back, causing me to laugh. When i thought about it we were being openly flirty and them lot didn't even realise.
"Anyone want a drink?" I said getting up. Kicking Calum's foot. I got a series of 'yeahs' from everyone and quickly went upstairs hearing Calum say he'd come help.
"Sneaky you are." He said once we'd gotten a few glasses out. "How can they not notice?" I laughed. "God knows" he hummed softly grabbing my arm pulling me towards him. Although we kissed a few days ago it hasn't been awkward. If anything Calum's gotten a little more confident around me. I smiled and quickly looked round him to see if anyone was coming up the stairs. When I saw nothing i gave him another smile and quickly pressed our lips together. I heard a bang come from downstairs and Calum immediately jumped away from me. Both of us probably red faced i picked up the coca-cola bottle taking off the cap and poured it into each of the glasses.
Calum quickly turned my head towards him placing another short kiss on my lips. He pulled away grabbing a few glasses and going back downstairs. I followed behind him trying not to fall down any steps.
"Why are you two so red faced?" Cleo asked looking between the two of us. "I told Erin about the time me and Mali were chased by a dog" Calum said quickly putting the glasses down. Thank you Cal. I giggled quietly placing the other glasses down and sitting back on the sofa.
"So Ash, how are you and the girlfriend?" Calum asked changing the subject. "Not too bad, how are you and Erin?" He said looking at me. "We're just friends." I smiled. "How does every topic of conversation become a dig at our friendship." I muttered obviously slightly ticked off.
Calum being himself, he froze, not knowing what to say even though not two minutes earlier he lied perfectly to cover our backs. Theres the thing with Calum, one second his confidence is through the roof and in the next breath it's so far deep in the ground you wouldn't be able to dig far enough to find it.
Ashton held his hands up in defence. "I'm not digging." He said sighing in defeat. "You guys just seem like a good couple." He shrugged. "He is right Erin, it's kinda obvious you two are made for each other." Cleo said backing him up.
"Stop wishing for something that's not in your control. You're assuming we like each other, although your assumptions haven't been confirmed." I said looking down at the palms of my hands wishing for a black hole or something to come and swallow me up.
Liking someone is an amazing feeling. You're confidence hits the sky but your insecurities sometimes get the better of you. But what we do is our business and nobody else's. Until I tell Cleo.
