I woke up the sunshine from my bedroom windown shining on me pulling me away from the deep sleep i was in. I turned to see Erin asleep on the sofa beside me. Shit. It's Thursday we have school.

I quickly grabbed my phone 7:25. Shit i quickly shook Erin awake "Erin we're gonna be late get up!" I jumped up grabbing my clothes getting changed and quickly brushing my teeth, going back into my bedroom where Erin was struggling to put her shoes on.

"Shit, shit, shit I need to get changed!" She said grabbing her bag. We made our way down two flights of stairs and out of the house. Knowing Mali was in i left the front door unlocked and followed Erin who had ran down the street to get to her house.

We got to her house and she flew through the door and straight upstairs. "ERIN MAY BRITTON" A woman shouted coming out of the kitchen. "Was she with you last night?" I froze.

"Yeah I'm sorry we were watching a movie and we just fell asleep on the sofa" i said shoving my hands into my jacket pockets.

The woman looked at me and went back into the kitchen saying nothing more. Erin came back downstairs in completely different others to yesterday and her hair in a pony tail on top of her head.

"I'll explain later mum!" She shouted and pulled me out of the house. 7:42 it would take us 10 minutes to walk to school but with the way we were running probably only 5. "I can't believe we fell asleep!" She shouted running slightly behind me.

We sat outside out attendance officers office. Apparently being 20 minutes late for first class is 'abysmal' behaviour.

We got a warning and were told to wait and go to second period. At lunch everyone met up and sat in the lunch hall for a change. Cleo and Luke sat together indulged in their own conversation as usual. Ashton was infatuated with Reanna and Mikey was nowhere to be seen.

"Can't believe we only got a warning" Erin said putting her bottle of coca-cola down and sitting down opposite me. "I know" I laughed. "Warning? A warning for what?" Cleo said leaning onto the table so she could see round Luke. "Fuck." Erin muttered. "We were late this morning." Erin said opening her bottle. "Why?" Cleo questioned. Erin took a quick sip of her drink rolling her eyes. "Because i watched a movie at Calum's last night and we got up late because we fell asleep. Is that alright with you mum?" Erin said sarcastically.

"Watched a movie my ass." Ashton muttered. "I'm not a slut." Erin said narrowing her eyes at Ashton. "Erin he was joking." Cleo said trying to calm her down. "No its exactly what you were all thinking anyway wasn't it, maybe you'd belive me if it came from Calum's mouth." She looked over at me and raised an eyebrow.

"Honestly, nothing happened between us at all. I was sick of going out after every football matchand watching the rest of you with your girlfriends or the next girl you were hooking up with so i asked Erin to come over and watch a movie. We fell asleep we got up late, we were late to school simple as." Nobody said anything. Erin just gave me a small smile and got up from the lunch table taking her bottle and walking away.

"Ashton you're a dick." Cleo said shooting him a glare. "She saw her cousin go through all kinds of crap when she was our age because of boys and being accused of whoring around." I took it as my que to leave and go find Erin before igot interigated by the boys and Cleo.

To Erin

Where are you?

I had texted her quickly and got a reply within a few minutes saying that she was outside by the oak tree. I pulled my backpack straps further onto my shoulders and walked out onto the field and over to the tree where she was sat with her bag beside her. Once i got to the oak tree someform of confidence took over andi stuck my hand out for Erin to take. She gave me an odd look but when i shook she caught on and grabbed my hand, i quickly pulled her to her feet and wrapped my arms round her. At first she tensed but quickly wrapped her arms around my neck and hugged me.

"I'm sorry" i said quietly, wrapping my arms round her a little tighter and pulling her up off the floor slightly. "What for?" She said giggling quietly. "For not saying anything before Ashton." I mumblred. I heard another giggle escape her mouth and felt one of her hands softly play with the back of my hair. "Stop being stupid. I overreacted, nothing we do is their business anyway." She said pulling away from me, blushing slightly. "Nothing?" I said having hold of her wrist. "Nope nothing." She smiled. "So if i said, shall we watch another movie at my house on Saturday and you stayed over it wouldn't be their business?" I ask letting go of her wrist and scratching the back of my neck.

The bell went for 5th period and Erin grabbed her backpack, pulling it over her shoulders and standing in the same position as before. "Nah, it definitely wouldn't be their business." She said walking by me. "Bye Cal." She smiled and walked off to next lesson. I really started to like Erin after the party at Luke's. I'm really the type to geth caught up with a girl, i've had a girlfriend but it was in like year 9 so it was nothing serious.
