Chapter Five

You wake up back at the base, in Shizukus (and now yours) room. Your wound has been patched up and pretty much healed. You sigh. "I really shouldn't have been taken down by that bullet." You say this to yourself and your face grows sad. Shizuku walks in and sit down on the bed next to you. "You're awake." You nodded. Shizuku sighs. "When you were knocked out, I lost my composure. I went crazy and killed everyone in sight." She grabs your arm and looks at you with a worried look in her face. "Y/n, what is this. What do I feel? Why did I freak out when you were hurt?" You smile. "Awwww. Shizuku, that's called love." Shizuku blushes. "Wait, why is my face turning red? What the hell is wrong with me?" She starts to cry, and you wrap her in your arms. "It's ok Shizu. Every human has feelings. You love me... and I love you too." She hugs you back and you just sit on the bed for what seems to be days (it's actually only a couple minutes lol) and you enjoy the embrace.

After a while, Shizuku looks up at you. "Y/n, can you teach me more about love?" You smile. "Of course."

Later that night, you and Shizuku are sitting on the bed and watching a romantic movie together in your room. Shizuku sees the couple and turns to you. "What is that called?" You smile. "That's called a couple Shizu. Seriously, you're smart but you just don't know anything about life." Shizuku shrugs. "Anyways, a couple... is that when two people love each other?" You look at Shizuku, puzzled. "Um sure? Why do you ask?" Shizuku looks back at you. "Can we be something like that? You and me?" Your ears turn red. Then you smile. Shizuku was always like this. "Yeah." Then you lean down and kiss Shizuku on the mouth. She pulls you in and you hold it until Shalnark walks into your room (fricking Shalnark >:/). "Hey y/n, I was wondering if-" he stops when he sees you and Shizuku and screams. "OH. MY. GOSH." He runs out of the room before you can catch him. You turn back to Shizuku. "Well, I guess everyone's gonna know now." She shrugs. "Whatever." You smirk. "You're not the least bit embarrassed after being walked in on?" She shakes her head. "Should I be?" You smile. "Nah."

You and Shizuku walk out of your room into the main room, where everyone else is already gathered. "Is Boss back yet?" Shizuku asks this to no one in particular. Shalnark shakes his head. "No. But there's something we need to talk about." You roll your eyes and Shizuku shrugs. "What would that be?" You face palm and so does Shalnark. "Soooo are you guys like a thing orrrrr? Cuz like, I walked in and like-" "TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION YES WE ARE A THING!" You shout, cutting him off. Shalnark smiles. "Wow, aggressive." You sigh. "Is that alright?"

"Is what alright?" Chrollo walks into the main room. You smile sheepishly. "Chrollo um... me and Shizuku are a thing." He widens his eyes. "I didn't think you had it in you. Nice." Your face reddens and he laughs. "As long as it doesn't distract Shizuku from her duties to the Troupe, it's fine." "Wait." You say. "Another question. How long can I stay here? Cuz I don't wanna overstay, ya know?" Chrollo laughs again. "Don't worry about it. You can stay as long as you like. You're a welcome guest here. Any objections?" Shalnark shakes his head. "I'm gonna enjoy this." Uvo and Nobunaga nod their heads enthusiastically. "Yeah, this'll be fun." You shoot them daggers with your eyes and they smirk. "Yeah, as long it doesn't cause problems in the Troupe." You shake your head. "You guys are my friends. I won't. And this relationship won't either." The rest of the Troupe agrees, even Phinks, who just rolls his eyes and gives a "yeah sure". You smile and so does Shizuku. You're excited, and for once in your life, happy.
