Chapter Eight

You and the others finish off the Shadow Beasts with relative ease, killing them all except for Owl. You file into the car and drive back to the base while Feitan interrogates Owl. You wrap your arm around Shizuku. "You alright?" She nods. "Just tired. I wanna watch a movie when we get back though." You sigh. "We've watched so many movies already." Shalnark nods. "Yeah, you really have. It keeps me up every freaking night." You stick your tongue out at him. "Deal with it." Shalnark reaches from the passengers seat to smack you, and the two of you get into it. Meanwhile, Machi intercepts a call from the Mafia and figured out where Uvo is being held. She hangs up and slaps the two of you on the head. "Shut up, you two! Nobunaga, Uvo is in the Hotel Beitacle." Nobunaga nods and gets off an exit to get to the hotel.

You and the others meet Phinks at the entrance and knock out some Mafia members, take their outfits and head into the room. When you get into the room, Phinks kills the lead bodyguard and you take off your disguises. Uvo sneers. "Finally! Now hurry up and suck the poison out of me!" You roll your eyes. "This wouldn't have happened if you actually tried in the first place." Uvo scowls. "I just wanted to have fun. Now hurry up!" You glare at him. "Shizu's working on it. Calm the hell down." Shizuku summons Blinky and sucks the poison out of Uvo. He tears the ropes holding him down with a big grin. "FINALLY! CHAIN DUDE! IM GONNA FUCKIN KILL YOU!"

"Quiet down." Shizuku says. "You're too loud." You nod. "He's probably gone." Uvo sneers and turns to Shalnark. "And that's why you're coming with me. I'm gonna need you to help me find that little bastard." His face suddenly darkens. "He won't know what hit him until he's burning in hell." You sigh. "No." Says Nobunaga. "It's not smart to go after him. I'm not saying that you can't beat him, but the Boss wants us back at base." Uvo scoffs. "I'll be done in a jiffy. I'll bet I'll make it back to base before you guys." Nobunaga frowns. "I'm serious. Don't go. I won't let you." He moves towards Uvo, but Shizuku stands in the way. "Now, now, Troupe members aren't supposed to be fighting with each other. We'll decide with a coin toss." Uvo and Nobunaga both grunt in agreement. "Fine." Shizuku takes a coin out of her pocket it and flicks it into the air. "Heads means Uvo goes, Tails means he stays." She catches the coin, flips it over and holds it out for everyone to see. "Heads" Uvo says with a grin. "Cmon Shal, we've got some work to do." Shalnark smiles. "Yeah, glad to help bud."

Before they leave, you pull Shalnark aside and look at him straight into the eyes. "Shal," you say, dead serious. "I need you to look out for him. I have a bad feeling about this." Shalnark smiles. "Don't worry, Uvo will be fine. He has the strongest body in the Troupe." You sigh. "Ok. Just be careful. Him and you too. Got it?" Shalnark nods and pats you on the shoulder. "Got it." He walks over to Uvo. "Ready?" Uvo nods. "Ready to kill that bitch." He turns to you and the others. "I'll see you back at base." He says confidently. "Tell the Boss I'll be back soon, okay?" Feitan nods. "Yeah yeah, just be back by one, ok? The rest of you, lets go." You and the others head into the car and soon you're sitting in the back with Shizuku taking a nap on your shoulder. You glance back towards the hotel, worried. Nobunaga sees your worried expression and smiles. "Y/n. He'll be fine. He's trusty ol Uvo, he'll never die." You smile. "Yeah." You rest your head on the headrest and fall asleep, unaware that you would never see Uvo again.

(Sorry guys, took a while but I'm back! I know this chapter wasn't rlly ab Shizuku and more ab the actually HxH storyline but um it'll get better!)
