"
Hello!"
"Jesus, you look like a cave woman." Mallory said, mock-horrified.
"Yeah, just woke up and I feel too lazy to even exist. So, A little bird told me you are at Don's place."
"Yeah."
Rose leaned her head and looked past at Mallory's back. "Where is your prince charming?"
"More like Sleeping beauty." Mallory shifted the camera to Don who is in peaceful slumber.
"Aww."
"Quite a view, isn't it?" Mallory teased.
Rose pouted her lips and replied. "Yeah, what will ya do if I steal him from you?"
Mallory squinted his eyes and zoomed the camera into his pretend angry face. "Try me, bitch."
Rose chortled as she took a sip on her coffee. "Hahaha, I know you'll say that!"
"Seriously though if you--"
"I know, I know. I'm not that kind of person."
She suddenly gasped as she realized his hair changed. "Did you cut your hair?"
"Yeah. I had to. Some assholes ruined it and almost killed me."
"Ohhhh, the gang! Those son of a bitches. I'll miss that hair."
"Me too."
She yawned and took another sip. She swirled around her cup. "You know, I freaking miss you. I have no one to watch The Room with."
"We can just chat about it here after you watch."
"But It's not the same, ya know. After the lock down, maybe we can have your husband join!"
"Maybe?"
"I dunno, there's a chance the world is ending. This year is cursed, I tell ya."
"Yeah, especially for me."
She rolled her eyes. "At least you have your future husband."
"Don't jinx it, Hoe."
"I'm not, you hoe!"
They both laughed loudly, awaking Don from his sleep. "What are you doing?" He groaned.
"Oh. You woke up." Mallory told Don. "I'm talking to Rose."
Don grinned with tired eyes to the phone. "Bonjour!"
"Bonjour, Don!" Rose waved. "Have you guys eaten breakfast yet?"
Don shook his head as he rubbed his eyelids. "No, We just woke up. Mallory and I stayed up all night---"
"I need to pee." Mallory interrupted.
Don paused and pointed to the door at the left. "The bathroom is there."
"I know."
"You went into the walk-in closet the last time---"
"Hold the phone for me." Mallory abruptly said to Don before jumping off the bed and ran off to the white left door.
"...How about you, have you eaten breakfast?" Don asked to Rose.
Rose held up her cup and yawned. "Done. I'm having coffee."
"Well, how was your week?" Don interviewed.
"It was fine, actually. I met a guy at a cafe." Rose answered. "He looks pretty menacing at first for some reason. Maybe because he looks so dour, but he was forgiving when I accidentally stepped on his shoes."
"Go on."
"Then before I left the cafe, he asked for my number."
"Impressive, Rose. Did you put a love potion on his coffee?" Don humored.
"Oh, Don. Are you skeptical of my capabilities?"
"Not at all. I'm glad you moved on from Mallory."
Rose sighed heavily then shrugged with a smile. "Well, if he's happy… I'm happy too."
The bathroom door opened. Mallory dived into the bed and embraced Don. "I'm starving." Mallory said as he hugged Don tighter.
Rose rolled her eyes. "Ugh, get a room, you two. I think it's my cue to go, ya guys need to eat! Goodbye, lovebirds!"
"Bye!" Don and Mallory replied in unison before Rose hung up.
Don stood up and reached his hand out to Mallory with am endearing grin. Mallory smiled back genuinely and accepted the offer before he was pulled up from the bed.
Mallory stood and admired Don as he wrapped his arms around his waist. Don gazed back, intoxicated at the sight of Mallory's ocean blue eyes.
Mallory felt goosebumps and slight jitters at the way Don stared at him. It felt flattering to Mallory on how his lover dreamily eyed him.
"You know..." Don said before he uttered a wistful sigh. "I want this to last forever."
