This story is coming up on 3K so I wanted to write a little note to my readers. I know there is a lot of Sonadow out there and of course we all know Sonadow is NOT canon and that slash ships can rub people the wrong way. There is no smut in this story and it's not a yaoi. It's a story justifying Shadow's nasty behavior towards Sonic on the Sonic Boom show. It's also a story that celebrates being gay and plays with the idea of what coming out would look like in the storyline of the Sonic series. If we ever see this happen in the Sonic World (unlikely with Sonic and Shadow, but in any capacity), it probably won't be for a while. But I wanted to write something that is gay-positive and I love Sonic. I'm glad you're here and I hope you enjoy this little fan fiction.
