"So, μικρή γοργόνα (little mermaid), you want to tell us how that all started, and how in the world you kicked that kid's butt?" Silas asked.
"Well you see due to my red hair, I get these urges to beat the rainbow clouds out of people when it tingles." I said back with a goofy grin. The guys gave me a stare mixed between disbelief and amusement, before letting out a chuckle.
"Okay but for real sweetie, what happened?" asked Kota with his eyes glazed over, with so much concern. I don't like that look in his eyes, it's too emotional; holy cheeseburger, don't cry Ariel Blaze Sorenson, don't you dare cry. I blinked back tears-hoping the guys didn't see that little episode.
"Okay, so Mr.Blobfish kept looking at me like I was a piece of meat and asked me to tango with him. I got annoyed and said bye. He followed me and pinned me down, which cause my red hair to tingle; so I beat the rainbow clouds out of him. And then you and Victor found me. The end."
"Princess? How'd you knock him out so easily?" Victor asked.
"Um, well you see. I, uh, I'm a kick boxer." I told them while I averted my eyes. No one made a sound so I turned to look at the guys, but they seemed to be, uh, communicating with their eyes..?
"Uh, guys?" I called out. They quickly snapped out of it-and all said wow, before the car fell silent once again. The silence didn't last long though, because a car zoomed in front of us causing Victor to step on the break-and all of us to jerk forward in our seats. Silas grabbed my waist, trying to help me settle again. I tried not to let my pained hiss out, but his grip was the perfect amount of pressure to force it out of me. He quickly let go and said sorry, until his eyes darkened and grabbed at my over sized sweatshirt to pull it up. I began to freak out...he can't see my waist, if he does, he'll see the injection mark. I had froze in my place allowing the perfect amount of time for Silas to lift up my sweatshirt. He let out a growl, snapping me out of my frozen state. I tried to wiggle out of his grip, but he just held on tighter and examined the mark while Kota and Victor turned in their seats and checked the scene behind them.
"Victor, turn the fuc-" he began to say before I cut him off.
"Leprechauns!" He sent me a tiny amused yet serious glare that quickly went away when I sent him my famous innocent smile.
"Oh, my what happened?" Victor all but shouted.
"It's nothing guys. I'm fine." I stated to them calmly, along with an icy look that said 'drop it.'
"Ariel, are you fine with chilling at Kota's for a bit? I'll drop you off when I head back home." Victor asked. I gave him a nod and watched as the car fell silent once again.I felt my, yellow IPhone XR, vibrate and quickly brought it out. Dad bought it for me after we moved, and only he has my number. He never calls or texts unless it's important.
'Ariel, don't come home for a while. Your mother's family is over. I sent some cash over grab a taxi and stay over at a hotel. You have to stay at the hotel for two weeks. Yes, including the week that school starts. I have left you two grand. I trust that you can make your own reservations and call for Urbers or Taxis.'
'Okay Dad. Got it, can you send some of my workout clothes over though, I only bought a couple of outfits?'
'Yea, I'll tell the maid to pack a suitcase of some of your clothes and other necessities.'
I rolled my eyes and let a quiet sigh out. I wish I couldn't meet my mom's side of the family. Mother always says that I don't exist to anyone other than my sisters, Father, and herself; too bad for her though-I think I exist to these guys. I thought to myself as I let out a small grin. I shook myself out of my thought and turned on my phone again, so that I can find a nice place to stay at. I found one, a five-star hotel, called 'Lemon Squares.' It was the perfect hotel, close to my gym, a library, had a spa and pool-it was perfect. I'm going to take advantage of the situation I'm in. I've never been outside the house for this long, and I don't get to go on vacations-which means no hotels; my first one should be special. I quickly booked it and let a guilty yet excited smile slip onto my face. I got an email telling me to check into the front desk, the spa and gym were free for my use, and that I would be staying at the penthouse suite on the highest floor. They probably saw that I was a Sorenson, I thought to myself a little annoyed yet happy.
'Hey Dad. I'm going to be staying at the hotel 'Lemon Squares.'
'What room number?'
'Floor 23, suite number 12.'
'Your things will be their in 10 minutes.'
'Okay, thanks:)

I quickly called a Uber to Kota's house once I figured we had arrived. It would be arriving in 15 minutes.
"Here we are!" Kota exclaimed. His house was cute inside and out. It was a very warm environment.
"Kota!" a young girl exclaimed as she ran over to him along with a golden retriever.
"Hey Jess. This is Ariel." Kota told his sister, I'm assuming.
"Hey Ariel, I'm Kota's little sister Jessica. It's nice to meet you." she said with a shy but sweet smile.
"Hi little darlin. It's wonderful to meet you too, and who's this little guy." I said with a soft smile and my southern belle accent that slipped out.
"Oh, that's Max." she told me as I snuggled up to Max.
"Well, let's head up." Kota said. He looks a little flushed. We headed up to his room, which I have to say was very clean and basically Kota like. It was perfect. We sat down and the guys began firing questions on my accent and other things. I told them I moved down from Kentucky, and that I was trying to slip out of my accent, which they quickly told me not to do that-as it was and I quote "as wonderful as [me]." I gave my thanks as the blood rushed to my cheeks, before announcing that my ride was here and I had to head out.
"I thought I was giving you a ride princess?"
"I didn't want to bother so I just called a ride over." I told him, not mentioning that it was a Uber. They would never have let me go otherwise.
"Hey Ariel. Can we have your number?" Kota asked sweetly.
"Of course." I told him. He typed his number and passed it to the others. They handed my phone back and I hugged an waved them goodbye. I figured that they would try to walk me out, so I quickly shouted a bye at them and raced out until I was safely situated in the backseat of my Uber driver's car. He quickly stepped on the gas pedal and took me to my destination: "Lemon Squares."
"Here we are miss. Have a nice day and thank your for the tip." he told me as he helped me with the door and got all my shopping bags out and handed it to the bellboy. I sent the driver off with a smile and headed in besides the bellboy. I told the bellboy my floor and room number with a sweet smile , before heading to the front desk for my delivery, room key, and other information. I had almost reached the front desk but had bumped into a wall somehow.
"Ugh, stupid wall." I groaned. I felt the wall move with vibrations? And realized it was really warm.
"Huh? Mr.Wall how are you moving and why are your warm?" I asked stupidly to the wall-with my southern belle accent.
"That's because I'm not a wall, honey." The not-a-wall said to me. Wait, what? I snapped my eyes open and came face to face with a smirking man who was holding me up from falling. I scanned over him and realized that he's the red bunny haired model from school.
