We Should Just Elope?

"Kassie...what did you do?"

Jo inquires to the curly head woman whom is looking nervously at her.

"Okay, Jo. Calm down babe. All I did was go pick up our food from Nobu. Then that same clown from a few months back that was badgering us was there asking questions ."

"What did he say?"

"Apparently, he has an inside man that gave him info about the wedding."

Kassie looks at Jo for a reaction.

"Jo! He knows about the day we chose to get married. Does that not alarm you?"

"Of course it does, but you're still not telling me everything. What else happened because I'm looking at an article that says you are the source that confirmed the information."

Kassie sighs and deflate her shoulders. She walks further into their home and place their food on the dinner table.

"Kassie...tell me everything that happened."

"I feel a little attacked right now to be honest. I'm telling you what happened. That douchebag  apparently got mad because I wouldn't confirm what he...AGAIN I SAY, already know about the date of our wedding.

"Also...I was wearing my ring and I didn't even think to not wear it. I just...I hate taking it off because truthfully, I want the entire world to know that I'm taken by you. I just didn't think I would have gotten hounded on by a paparazzi without you."

Jo sighs and wipes the length of her face with her hand.

The singer walks over to Kassie and sit down in a chair. She pulls the sulking woman into her lap and kisses her neck.

"Babe, I'm sorry. I was just caught off guard because of the article. I honestly could care less who knows about the wedding. All I'm focused on now, is us getting to walk down that aisle and say our "I do's."

Kassie slightly turns her head so that she can kiss Jo.

"Did that asshole say who his source was?" Jo incline as she pulls away from their short but sweet kiss.

"All he said was that it was someone from the wedding venue that told him."

Jo shakes her head.

"I can't stand when people do shit like that. Like damn, can I have one thing to myself without everyone trying to be all in my business."

The two women sit in silence and think about what just happened.

"We should just elope?"

Kassie says as she gets up to go grab plates from the kitchen.

As the event planner return to the table, she notice Jo is veering off into the distance and is thinking very hard.

Kassie sit back down at the table and begin to plate their food. After another minute of silence the curly head woman look up at her fiancée.

"Babe?" Kassie questions.

Jo just stare off into empty space before shaking her head and a moment later she looks at Kassie.

Kassie quizzically stare at Jo with a confused expression.

"Words. Babe. Use your words."

Kassie exclaim at the older woman as she passes her a plate of food.

Another few moments of silence and Kassie just concentrated on eating her dinner.

"What if we did elope?"
