The Singer and the Fan: A Brave New Love

6 Months Later: Part One

6 months later...

"Hey babe! Can you come here for a minute? Please!"

Jo yells from the downstairs foyer.

It's been six months since the singer wrapped up her Residency in Las Vegas and a month since her last show in November.

Kassie and Jo have since moved in together.

The event planner decided to move to LA so that the singer didn't have to uproot Ella and her schedule.

It was easier for her to be the one to move anyways. Kassie didn't have any children or ties to Texas other than her family, which she rarely saw, and her best friends.

However, that didn't stop Kassie from making up her mind about the move. Her family and friends could come visit whenever they want.

Also, Kassie has been looking around Los Angeles for a nice space to start her Event Planning business.

The curly head woman is still in charge of the business back home, but she promoted her best friend, Amber and made her and Mia co-owners.

Now they are running the business in Texas, while Kassie will be running things down in LA.

"Give me a second, J!" Kassie yells from their bedroom.

She had just gotten out of the shower and was in the middle of putting her clothes on.

A few seconds later, the fan was walking down the large spiral staircase.

As Kassie descends the stairs, she notices her fiancé immediately.

"Um, babe? What are you doing?"

"What does it look like. I'm trying to hang this picture up." Jo grunts as she pounds the nail into the wall.

"Yeah, I can see that, but why? We have someone that can do that."

Kassie explains as she refers to Donald, the head of maintenance and grounds.

"I know baby, but I really want this picture up now. Donald went out for supplies so I'm not sure of when he'll be back."

The singers explain as she finishes mounting up the nails and reaches for the large canvas picture.

Kassie just shakes her head with a smile and walk over to help her fiancé.

"Here...let me help then."

The two women work together to hang the large family portrait.

Once it was up, Jo stood there with her hands on her hips; smiling at the picture.

"We look good, don't we?" Jo asks her fiancé.

Kassie moves behind Jo and wraps her hands around the older woman's waist. She places a gentle kiss on the warm skin of the singer's neck.

"Yes, we do look good, babe." Kassie confirms sweetly with another kiss to Jo's neck.

The huge canvas portrait was taken when Jo was completing her last two show's in Hawaii.

They had a fun day on their private beach that came with the modern vacation home they stayed in while in Hawaii.

The Picture was of the new family playing on the beach. Kassie had just scooped Ella into her arms after she had just chased her down the beach.

Jo had her arm wrapped firmly around Kassie's waist. She was bent forward as she was captured in mid laugh.

Her all white cover-up was blowing in the wind and her hair was pulled up into a messy bun of auburn curls.
