Soulmates (Weiss x Ruby)

Chapter 15

Yang POV

I saw Weiss dragging Ruby somewhere, i'm pretty sure to talk about what was going on between them. But I wanted to keep an eye on Ruby so I followed them.

Soon I ended up in a garden at the back of the school that I never knew about. They then sat down on a bench facing the setting sun, all of a sudden.

I turned around to the sound of someone. I looked up to see Blake who seemed mad.

Uh Oh

Minutes later.....

"Blake let me go I wanna see what happens!"

"No! Yang you're invading their personal privacy. How would you like it if someone was spying on us while we were having an important conversation?"

"......."

"I thought so."

We ended up at the door of our dorm room, Blake still dragging me on the floor.

"Yang, promise me you'll never do that again. Because I want them to feel comfortable with each other. They can't do that if someone is watching them. Literally!"

"I promise. I just wanted to make sure Ruby was okay. I don't want anything to happen to her."

I laid on her stomach.

"Ever we got to beacon I wanted to look out for her. To make sure she was okay. She never had a mom growing up, neither did I....and I just wanted to be the mom she never had. I'm sorry......."

I started to crying into Blake's temple. She hugged me tight rubbing my hair.

"It'll be okay yang. She's growing up. She'll still need you from time to time but you should let her be...okay?"

"Okay..."

I just hope nothing happens......

Weiss POV

It was silent. Neither of us knew what to say. Especially me, I was scared i'd say the wrong thing again.

Then all of a sudden I heard Ruby clear her throat like she was going to speak. So I looked at her.

"Weiss...why did you kiss me when you obviously had a thing for Neptune."

I couldn't put words together to make a sentence to explain myself at that moment. I knew I found Neptune attractive and very swayful.

But I never looked at him in that type of way.....

Maybe that's why Ruby though she never had a chance with me. It all makes sense now.

"Ruby I've only thought Neptune was attractive. That's all, I never thought of him as a future boyfriend."

"Then how come that day you came into the dorm all red and flustered, it seemed like you liked him then..."

"That day...he kissed me on my cheek. That's why I was flustered. I don't think of him as a love interest though."

"Then why did you play with my feelings by kissing me! Not even once, but twice! You can't just do that to people! You don't even truly like me!

I grabbed her chin again leaning in regarding what she just said.

I kissed her passionately. This time it felt real. It felt like I actually meant it.

"Does that prove if I like you or not?"

I looked at Ruby only to find her blushing.

"You can't just think kissing me is going to solve the problem every single time! You can't just keep doing that!"

She then slapped my hand away from her chin, and got up off the bench. She ran away with tears in her eyes.....

It looks like I've hurt her enough.

I wanted to cry, but I couldn't. I can't blame Ruby for being mad at me. I would be mad too.

I got up and walked around the garden. It was just as beautiful as Ruby.

I then saw something out of the ordinary in the garden. It was a Whiterose with red speckles on it. I picked it up, and looked around to see if there were anymore like it.

"This is the only one here..."

I then went back to the bench to sit down with the Rose in my hand.

The Rose reminded me of me and Ruby. She represents the Rose of course, and the red speckles, and I represent the white layer.

That's when I realized...

Ruby's my Soulmate
