(this has slight spoilers for episode 9 of given! don't read it if you haven't watched the show or don't want spoilers! Also I'm clueless when it comes to music so some of theses terms are probably wrong. that is all :3)
eren's POV
the room was dimly lit but was rowdy, everyone was really excited to see no name perform their come back with his band. apparently, the lead singer no name aka Levi Akerman used to have a girlfriend but was cheated on last winter. It was so heartbreaking that he left the music industry for awhile, rumor has it that he never cried not even after that happened. now hes making a comeback as a small time band. Performing in venues all over japan. As a long time fan, of course I attend every show I can. My friend armin usually tags along but he had an internship meeting tonight so I'm on my own, my sister mikasa didnt want to come cause for some reason she wasnt a big fan of Levi. Dunno why, he's amazing! I picked a spot to wait for the show to begin as close as I could to the stage.
Practically shaking from pure excitement, the curtains started rising slowly to reveal the band with stage lights casting a blinding over them. Although they're signature outfits consisted of formal wear with bandages covering their eyes so I dont think the lights are bothering them. Hange, the guitarist and Erwin, the drummer started playing the breakdown. I've never heard this beat before, it has to be a new song! Levi stood at the center, holding onto the mic before taking one last deep breath and started singing
"Just like the shade of snow
That hasn't completely melted
I continue on with these feelings inside me
Hey, with what words
Your everything has lost its tomorrow
And now is wandering around eternally
Along with me
Who was unable to say goodbye or move on
Just like a spell that still won't break
Or some kind of curse

That scream sounded like he was in so much pain...like this song, this performance was the only way to let out his emotions. I wish I could help him, tell him everything will be okay. But I cant...what the hell am i saying! Of course I can! I'll support levi in any way I can! The entire room looked like they were experiencing the same pain as levi, some people were even shedding tears because of how powerful the emotions levi was conveying through his voice.
Hange and Erwin played for a couple seconds on they're own before levi continued with another breath of composure.
"The cold tears that fall

And around the time, they fall down my face

After the song ended, the three of them were panting from exhaustion. To be honest, Erwin and hange looked surprised, as if they weren't expecting that performance at all. Than levi walked off the stage, erwin called for him to come back since they had other song to perform but he didnt listen and kept walking. Hange jogged over to the mic, hand still on the neck of the guitar while the other rubbed the back if her head sheepishly "soooo our lead vocalist walked off stage, but don't worry! He'll be back in no time! We'll just play a song in the mean time!" She announced before nodding at erwin as a signal to start playing. They played a really catchy instrumental song, it wasnt half bad so everyone cheered them on.
But I was still worried about levi, so I shuffled my way out of the crowd and snuck back stage. There wasnt much security in this venue so it wasnt a big deal at all. I walked through a door that was apparently the staircase to the roof, the door startled me when it shut with a loud metal thud. I doubt anyone heard it over the on stage speakers. I glanced around and quickly spotted levi crouched over on one of the steps of the stairs, his bandages somewhat undone after that performance.
Now that I think about it this is the first time I get to see his eyes, they're beautiful. He glanced up at me with a blank expression and muttered a tired "what do you want?" With a numb tone. Of course I knew levi could tend to be unintentionally cold to others and even fans, so I wasnt suprise about his tone. Especially after that performance.
"U-um..." I tried to gather my words in my head, to be honest the decision of me sneaking backstage was me on autopilot. I crouched down infront of him "I-I just wanted to say, your performance was amazing. T-truly an amazing and emotional spectacle. Your song touched deeply with everyone in the room, but I saw that you were in pain....look what I wanted to say was, you're amazing Levi-San. You're strong, talented and over all perfect person who didnt deserve to have what happened to you happen." I said softly "I just wanted to let you know that, a-and I'll continue to support Levi-San in any way I can. Cause your a special person to me"
The look on Levi's face changed into a small look of surprise and tears ran down his face through his bandages. I assumed I said too much and sheepishly waved my hands in a flustered manner, definitely said something I shouldn't have "i-i apologies for all that, I just wasnt thinking and-" what shocked me to no end was that I was cut off by a kiss...from levi?! He pulled away and gave me a small smile "eren, thank you. For all the support you've given me"
I blinked a couple of times as he wiped his tears and stood up, but once I snapped out of it I was quickly back on my feet "wh-what was that for?! And how do you know my name?" I asked, completely and utterly fluster.
Levi turned to me and responded "I've seen you come to every single one of my shows and events over the years, incould always spot you in the crowd with that look on your face. Plus your name is on your wrist band" He explained rather bluntly, pointing down at the wrist band ticket I was wearing. I blushed a bit look down at the floor to avoid any eye contact with levi.
"Oh and eren" levi began, causing me to snap my head back up to look at him "y-yes?"
"I expect you to come to my next show in ikebukuro, I'll be looking for you" he said with a small smile before walking out the door and back on stage. I just stood there in shock, before a smile quickly spread across my face
