The Neighbor's Princess

Back for Chapter 2! I continue to look forward to what you all think. 😊

(I sigh as I grow bored of all the adults having their fun... I want to meet my new friend. I turn towards the house and stumble back as a short girl in a fancy poofy dress with black hair and brown eyes is inches from my face as she leans towards me. I fall back on my butt as I look up at her with a surprised look and she giggles.)

Girl: "Heehee, arigato! My name is Minatozaki Sana, what is yours?" (She reaches out her hand to help me up.)

(I look up at her and there was just something about her... I get a funny feeling in my chest as she is smiling while looking at me. I then notice her outreached hand attempting to help me up, so I reach out and take it. When I am back on my feet, I brush off my pants.)

You: "Um, thank you... My name is L/n Y/n... It's nice to meet you Sana..."

(We both bow simultaneously. And I begin looking awkwardly around trying to avoid eye contact with her as I still am feeling different.)

Sana: "Y/n, do you want to go play? My mom made me clean my room up for when you got here." (She pouts as she says that.)

Sana's Mom: "Oh princess, why don't we let them get settled in first?

(Sana's mom begins looking around with a confused facial expression. She turns to my parents.)

Sana's Mom: "Where are your belongings? I see luggage, but what about everything else?"

Your mom: "Oh the military will ship it, but it will be a few weeks before it arrives here. Unfortunately, that is just how it seems to work with them. We have beds already delivered inside, but we will just have to survive until then. I am sure we will manage." (She flashes a cheerful smile to Sana's mom.)

(I turn back to look at what Sana's mom will say. She has an almost appalled facial expression as she seems at a loss for words.)

Sana's Mom: "That will simply not work! Little Y/n over there will be starting school soon and it will be difficult for him to keep up on his studies. I can not stand for this... Tomorrow we are going to the store and picking up a few things. Y/n will also need his uniform as well, so we can pick that up."

Your Mom: "Well, we do not need to do that, but if you insist. It will be nice to go out shopping! Also, we can take the kids so the men can have a day to themselves before my husband has to leave."

(The adults discuss the plans for the following day as I watch them. I then feel a finger poke my cheek. I turn to see the girl face to face with me yet again. This time however, I do not fall backwards I just take a step back.)

You: "Yah... Why do you keep doing that?"

(Sana giggles cutely)

Sana: "Heehee, it is funny. Now Y/n come to my room pleeeeease?"

(She gives me her puppy dog aegyo face, and honestly... who could ever say no to that? So, I give her a sigh and nod. She begins clapping excitedly and a rather large smile forms on her face.)

Sana: "We are going to be best friends forever! So, when we get to school you have to be with me AT ALL TIMES, okay? Okay. Oh, and I will introduce you to my other friends Momo, and Mina. You will like Mina; she is quiet like you. "

(As we walked Sana would not stop talking... But I honestly did not mind as if she was talking, all I had to do was listen. As she kept going... I kind of realized that she was kind of bossy and answered her own questions in which I should have been answering... Oh well, I see why her parents call her a princess. Well anyway, when we walked through her house, it was just magnificent... it was huge. It also had very expensive looking decorations. We kept walking up the stairs until we arrived at a purple and pink painted room. The room had stuffed animals everywhere.)
