The Way It Used To Be

Sana: "Thanks for that! It's nice knowing I can count on someone to make sure I do not fall on my face!"

(She laughs, and quickly moves in front of me. Before I am able to turn again, I can tell she was able to see part of my face.)

Sana: "It can't be..."

(When I hear her say that I panic and quickly begin walking away. I hear her footsteps follow after me. I take a left and continue to walk until I realize I don't know where I am going and find myself cornered... I stand there defeated. I sense her presence standing behind me, but I do not turn around. I just hang my head. I feel my hood lifted off of my head.)

Sana: "Why... Y/n..."

(I struggled to find the words... I stood still, silently.)

Sana: "Please Y/n... It has been years... Please just talk to me..."

(I can hear the sounds of her beginning to cry. I sigh and go to turn around but as I do I hear another familiar voice.)

Momo: "Y/n! It really is you!"

(As I turn, I am immediately bombarded by Momo as she jumps on me and hugs me with a smile on her face.)

Momo: "How have you been!? Why haven't you contact us? Why did you not come see us, but you saw Nayeon?" (After every question, another slap on my arm.)

(I pulled Momo in for another hug and her head is resting on my chest. I look at Sana and she is staring at me with tear-filled eyes. I mouth "We will talk later" to her and she nods. Momo then pulls away and looks at me and smiles.)

Momo: "You somehow got hotter, Y/n." (She says this as she gropes my arms and feeling the muscle.)

You: "Um, thanks? So anyway, how about we join the others? Maybe you guys could properly introduce me to the others?"

Momo: "Of course! But believe me, they already know you."

(Momo latches on to my arm and we begin walking. Sana does not budge an inch, she continues to look shocked. As we pass her, I stop and stare back at her, and then Momo speaks up.)

Momo: "Sana! Come on!"

(Sana gets startled and then looks at us and nods. She is trying to hide it, but I know she is very upset. I will need to clear it up later... finally. She caught up to us and walked on the other side of Momo. I could see from the corner of my eye that she kept glancing over at me, but I tried my best to hide that I saw it. When we arrived back to the group all eyes were on us. The members of both groups were giving me and Momo some confused looks.)

Momo: "So, I want to introduce you all to someone very important to me, Sana, and Mina. Twice members, you have all heard his name mentioned I am sure. This is L/n Y/n, our childhood friend.

(As the members heard my name they instantly were shocked and some whispering among themselves occurred. Even the Got7 guys were caught off guard based on their reaction. I smiled at them all and bowed slightly, feeling very awkward with all eyes on me. Mina then stood up and walked to my side and hugged me. She flashed me her gummy smile.)

Mina: "It is honestly nice to have you back Y/n. I know you are working now, but maybe tonight you could go somewhere with me, Momo, and Sana to catch up? I am sure they would like that, I know I would."

You: "Sure Mina, I would enjoy that. But you are right, I am currently working. I need to focus on paying attention to my surroundings. So, continue having a good time. I will be watching and making sure no one ruins your time here."
