Starlit Night

(Well here it goes! I hope you all do not hate me too much! I know it has been forever since I have updated. I fell in kind of a funk, and then I got super busy. But life is legit back on track now, and I will be updating regularly.)

You: "Anyway Squirrel, what did you have in mind tonight?"

(Sana places her index finger on her chin as if she is thinking.)

Sana: "Hmmmmmm, well... What if we go for a walk to my favorite ice cream place? And then maybe after... There is a fair going on, wanna go?"

You: "Sounds good to me Squirrel. I am just excited to hang out with you. Lead the way, Squirrel."

(Sana claps her hands excitedly and hugs me.)

Sana: "YAY! This is going to be the best night ever! Let's go!"

(Sana grabs a hold of my hand and begins walking rapidly out the door. I wonder... Does this count as a date? No Y/n, of course not. We are just friends, she made that clear years ago. Cherish what you have.)

(One Hour Later)

(Thirty minutes have passed since Sana and I arrived at her house... She said she needed to shower and get ready. Thirty minutes have passed, and she is STILL in the shower. I get restless, and notice a Nintendo Switch sitting on the table. I am sure it is Mina's. I grab it and begin playing a game called Fire Emblem: Three Houses... Mina has good taste in games! However, due to this new distraction, time passes. I lose track of time until I realize I no longer hear the shower running, but how long ago did it stop? I also do not hear the music that she had playing. I turn off the switch and set it back to where I found it. I then stand up and make my way upstairs. The bathroom door is empty, I look inside, it is empty with the light on. I continue to try and listen for any noise, but I hear none. I walk to Sana's room, her door is shut. I call her name out and knock on the door, but no answer. I wait a minute, and then repeat what I just did... Still no answer. After another minute or so of waiting, I open the door. I am immediately met with a loud, and high pitched scream... As well as a sight I never would have imagined. Standing there, Sana was in nothing but her underwear and bra, doing her best to cover herself up with her hands. She pulled the headphones out of her ears, and her face was flushed. I realized I had been staring and quickly shut the down and left the room.)

You: "Sana, I am SO sorry! I knocked twice, and even called for your name. I did not think that you'd have headphones in! I was just worried... You were taking so long."

(The door opens to a smiling Sana in a beautiful blue and white dress. She hits my chest and walks past me.)

Sana: "I know it was an accident! But you did take a little long to leave the room, pervert. And is a man really complaining that a woman is taking too long to get ready for their date?"

(She winks, and then walks downstairs, leaving me standing there shocked... Did she really just say that? I am sure she must be teasing... After I regain my composure, I quickly follow her lead to go downstairs and outside.)

(We decided it best to walk to the festival since it was such a gorgeous night outside. As we walked I looked over at her and caught her staring at me. The way her the moonlight hit her eyes... When our eyes met she flashed a warm smile. I felt nostalgia, I felt warmth... Warmth that I have not felt in so many years. It was just like when we were kids...)
