The next morning Junhui woke up in yet another daze. The tall male sat up in his bed yawning and stretching as the sun barely peaked over the edge of the horizon

6:30 am

Junhui still had an hour and 30 minutes before he usually arrives at school to meet with his friends before classes. This gave Jun a little over 45 minutes to get ready considering the 15-minute walk to school. As Jun started to get dressed, he glanced at himself in the mirror. He can barely look at himself sometimes, it wasn't because he hated the way he looked Jun thought he was one of the most attractive people in the school. Other than him, Jeon Wonwoo was the only other person to say so.

Jun's heart breaks almost every time the thought of the boy comes into his mind. When they were together, everything was ok. Like the world had stopped spinning. Every time Wonwoo would finish reading a book, Jun was the first he'd tell, and he was excited to listen just to watch how happy the other looked when he talked about it. Wonwoo gave off a cold and mean vibe, but is a child and very soft at heart. His eyes would shine when Jun bought him ice cream, or when Jun took the older to the new amusement park. What happened between the two was all Jun's fault. Not once did wonwoo ever hurt, or question Jun and his sexuality, but he couldn't face the reality that he couldn't let anyone know he was gay. One day rumors started going around that Jun was head over heels for Wonwoo. Of course, every last bit was true, but no one could know that.

"jun!!" The older called to the taller when he spotted him a little down the hallway. Jun looked up and spotted Wonwoo, instantly looking around to notice other people whispering at the loud call from Wonwoo. He watched as the older ran to him, the cutest and brightest smile plastered on his face. " Hey Jun!" he said again, 'Why didn't you respond to my texts last night?" He started to panic. People were staring, Wonwoo held a tight grip on his hand, and the thought of getting made fun of for being different made him dizzy and annoyed. Jeonghan, Mingyu, and Soonyoung had been standing by Jun's locker when the other  called out his name. Of course, them plus Seokmin were the only ones who knew Jun's secret, and Wonwoo had become like a brother and best friend to the group. But something isn't sitting right with this encounter. The group of friends noticed Jun sweating and suddenly turning pale. The friends glanced around and soon realized the entire hallway was watching the two. Of course, Wonwoo had not noticed as he happily ranted about his new book, and how it inspired him to be a photographer, but the younger noticed Jun seemed out of it.

" Jun?" Wonwoo asked as he leaned in closer, the gasps and whispers from the hallway ringing out and filling his ears. Suddenly, without thinking, without considering what the hell Junhui had done, the taller threw Wonwoo off of him, sending the other flying right into Seokmin who had just appeared and gently held the older.
"W-Wonwoo?" Seokmin let go and looked at the shocked and confused face plastered on Wonwoo. "Junhui what the hell was that?" Wonwoo never called jun by his real name and hearing him say it sent chills down the friend groups' backs. "What is Jun doing?" Seookmin asked as he walked up next to Soonyoung, the older responded, "ruining two people's lives."
"S-Stay away from me Jeon." Jun suddenly responded. Wonwoo tilted his head in confusion then laughed, "This is one of the weirdest jokes you have ever played jun." The older stepped towards the younger, but he stepped back. Now scared, the older replaced his smiling face with an anxious one. "I'm serious, you- you freak! D-don't come near me! I'm not gay! So s-stop!" the other yelled.  The tension in the air could be broken with the smallest sound. Wonwoo was lost, confused, and hurting, but most of all he was embarrassed. Did junhui not like him? He was just...toying with him? Wonwoo felt a warm substance drop from his face, something he'd never felt in his life, not even as a child. Tears

Wonwoo glanced at the friend group standing next to jun, shock, and confusion written all over their faces. "G-guys-" Wonwoo tried to speak but almost no sound came out. Wonwoo looked at junhui, who also had a tear streaming down his face, not daring to look at the heartbroken boy staring at him.

Jeonghan tried to speak up, but before a word could come out, Wonwoo threw his new favorite book on the floor, the one that had allowed him to finally know what he wanted to do, and he ran. He ran and ran and ran and ran until he found a washroom on the complete opposite side of the school.  Wonwoo busted through a stall door and sat with his face against the wall, curing up into the tightest ball he could manage as he let the tears stream. He cried, loudly.  Meanwhile, his phone was blowing up with concerning messages from his two best friends. Eventually, the duo found Wonwoo and built up enough courage for Wonwoo to stand up and leave school. The trio went to Minghao's house and the two watched over Wonwoo for the next week. Wonwoo didn't eat, wonwoo didn't drink unless Chan forced him, he didn't do homework, he didn't go to school, and he didn't even sleep. Wonwoo sat in the same spot for an entire week, Emotionless tears streaming down his face non-stop until finally, sleep overtook him.

Jun can't bear to look at himself for what he did, he had never felt the way he did when he watched Wonwoo's small frame, throw his beloved book down, and run but not only did he run, he ran away from him. Suddenly realization hit, and he turned to his friends seeing a mixture of confused and angry faces. The crowd surrounding the hallways had cleared and junhui remembered how angry Jeonghan and Soonyoung were, after all, they were very close to Wonwoo. The male remembers how for the next week the trio of friends didn't show up, jun would glance at the empty chair where wonwoo sat, just to be reminded of how much of an idiot he was. It has been a year since the incident happened, and jun was still traumatized. He wanted to hold Wonwoo, kiss him, and yell at the school that he was absolutely in love with the boy, every single time he looked at him. He could only watch from the shadows as Wonwoo slowly started to break the shell he created because of him. Watching him smile from a distance, was better than nothing.

Jun had finally arrived at school and walked with his friends before classes started. His first period was PE so it was easy, the second period was a free block so he would nap in the Gym, after lunch, which is usually when Minghao would catch him staring at Wonwoo, was calculus. He loved this class because he could at least see the raven-haired boy. As jun and his friend group walked in, immediately something caught his eye. Someone was flirting with wonwoo. Junhui watched in disgust as he sat down, now noticing his friend group grow quiet as they as well noticed the PDA.

"Uhhh who are you?' Wonwoo asked as a tall, slender black-headed boy sat in the seat next to Wonwoo. "Hopefully your new boyfriend." The black-haired man smiled innocently at Wonwoo. Jun could feel his nails digging into his palms as he watched Wonwoo's face blush, and a small smile appeared on his face. Wonwoo glanced up to look at him, who had been looking the whole time. For some reason the minute they made eye contact jun softened, but he had a feeling Wonwoo wanted jun to see.

"I'm Jeon Wonwoo," he said facing back to the boy smiling.
"Park Seonghwa" The black-haired boy answered as he leaned his head on his arm too close for Junhui's liking. And he didn't like what he was seeing at all.
