Third pov

Joshua and the rest were sprinting to the hospital when they saw Soonyoung, Mingyu and Jun running across the street, headed back towards the hospital.
"Soonyoung!"

Soonyoung turned to look across the road, still running as hard as he could to his destination
" Hong! Did Jeonghan call you too!"

Joshuas face gave his answer away. Soonyoung began to sprint even harder. What if his best friend was gone? He wasn't even there for him during his last moments. Soonyoung had tears running down his cheeks, Jun and Mingyu following hot on his tracks as the other group finally crossed the road. Now running in a group of 9 to the hospital.

The group had sprinted up the steps to the third floor. Nurses and patients quickly moving out of the way before getting pushed over by the friend group. When they rounded the corner, they stopped.

Sweat dripping, hands on knees, red eyes.

As they looked down the hallway, the worst possible situation was all they could think of.

Jeonghan was on his hands and knees.

screaming

crying

and banging on Seokmins door.

I just about fell to the ground. That was my best friend. slowly, but surely losing his will. I tripped many times as I tried running to my friend.

When Jeonghan looked up, he started to cry harder. Here... his friends were finally here. he wasn't alone now. I quickly pulled Jeonghan into a hug and started to cry.

"J-Joshua, Seokminnie-"

Jeonghan bawled, not able to say more than a couple of words. Jun was the next one to make it to Jeonghan, wrapping him in a tight hug, along with Soonyoung and Mingyu following. Jeonghans sobs were the loudest.

"I'm s-sorry, I was so s-scared and I couldn't, breathe Joshuji"
"i know, i know, it's ok"
"everything is ok now"

I still was holding Jeonghan, now on the chairs rather than the floor. Jeonghan told us that Seokmin had started having a seizure.

Minghao glanced over and noticed mingyu crouched down, hands on his head.

"Hey, are you ok?" Minghao didn't know why he had approached mingyu, I mean fuck he forgets korean when ever he thinks about talking to the other.
Mingyu looked up, for some reason the presence of Minghao, and his warming smells made him relax a little.
"i'm ok... but will you stay"
I almost screeched, my crush asking me to stay
"yea, of course"
I plopped himself bedside mingyu, helping him finish his homework for the day. When I glanced over, he was out. I couldn't help but smile. I managed to pick up the taller and lay him down on a small couch without waking him.
"hey uh jun, where are the blankets?"
He pointed to a bag, I guess someone brought them. I grabbed the comfiest looking blanket and placed it on mingyu. His eyes were swollen still, and I could still see the dry trail of tears that was left on his cheeks.
"it'll be ok, Seokmin is going to wake up soon"
I was going to walk away, but a force was holding me back. I turned to mingyu gripping tightly to my shirt.
"please don't leave yet, i'm scared"
I almost cried at his words.
"I won't leave"
I could feel his grip on my shirt loosen slightly, offering my hand instead, he held it like his life depended on it. I sat with my back leaning agaisnt the small couch. Once I finally felt mingyus grip loosen, I reached over and grabbed his homework.

I completed his and my homework. I glanced up, Jeonghan was fast asleep in Joshuas lap, who was caressing the others hair to help him sleep. Earlier, Jihoon called Vernon and Seungkwan, they ended up bringing food, and stuff for everyone. They even found out what happened to Seokmin, and pledged they would "defeat anyone who dare speak ill of Lee Seokmin". Honesty it lightened the mood a lot. Seungcheol has now taken over Joshuas spot so he could sleep. Joshua was now completely out on the floor, using Soonyoung and jun as pillows. Seungkwan and Vernon decided to stay incase any of them needed help since they weren't tired and the others had been dealing with so much, which was much appreciated. Wonwoo was using my legs as a pillow, Chan using Wonwoos stomach as a pillow. To me, something about having so many people here was soothing. Something about these people made him feel.
