When love is a losing war-Ch13

The sun is breathtakingly strong today, as the others groggily get out of bed, knowing what to expect for today.  Linda is the first awake and decides everyone needs an energising breakfast to help kick start their day.  She works her way around the massive kitchen but manages to cope well, when Jae and Raima offer their support.  The others finally get up and a small smile comes to their faces, at seeing so much food in front of them.  Mia and Jackson look at one another and nod to each other.  They smack their faces and close their eyes before smiling.  They each grab a plate and start piling food up.  Linda watches with a smile at seeing the colour being restored to their faces.  Various dishes are presented in front of them.  Kimchi, scrambled eggs, miso soup, waffles, pancakes and some english breakfast and fresh glasses of orange juice and milk in a jug.  Mia helps herself to a hefty amount of food, as well as Jackson and dig into their food.  "Man Linda you sure know how to cook"-Jackson.  "Agreed...Like wow are you secretly a professional chef?"-Mia.  "Haha oh stop you two.  No I'm just the main cook in the house.   Mum and dad get pretty lazy so I learnt from a young age"-Linda.  "I instantly feel so much better thank you so much guys.  We can't afford to lose hope! Aya and Xiaojun are waiting for us to save them!!"-Mia.  "Mario and Hyunjin got taken yesterday..."-Eunwoo.  "Oh.  So now two are being taken at a time?"-Mia.  "Lily... I know you have a lot to catch up on but decided 2 of us will disappear... one by her and the other by damien"-Linda.  "How did we get caught in the middle of their twisted game??"-Jackson.  "Cause Yasmin dearest is an essential piece in my plans haha"-Lucifer.  "Y-you fucking..."-Eunwoo.  "Hey Yas you're awake!! You sound kinda weird tho girl"-Mia.  "Mia that's not Yas... well at least not spiritually"-Eunwoo.  "What? What do you mean she's been possessed?"-Mia.  "Bingo little one.  I'm taking control of my soon to be wife's body just for a while...You won't be able to reach her at all"-Lucifer.  "I will get my girlfriend back don't you worry, you fallen angel"-Eunwoo.  "Hahaha havent heard that in a while kid...you think you're so brave when you have no idea, how easy it is to snap your neck in seconds without even moving an inch"-Lucifer.  "I'm not denying your power or lily or Damien's.  Don't think humans are so weak though... we have our own strength, doesn't have to be supernatural"-Eunwoo.  "Whatever... the one you should really be looking for is the true daughter.  She'll have all the answers but I wonder if you'll find her alive..."-Lucifer. 

He disappears after leaving the whole atmosphere tense.  Jackson's hand holding the spoon, suddenly froze in the moment and finds his hand twitching and shaking erratically.  He holds his other hand over it and it doesn't stop. Mia grabs his hand and slaps it hard, leaving an impact to shatter the tense air.  His hand stops shaking and he heaves out a sigh.  The others stop eating and glance at him with worried expressions.  He shakes them off and puts on a smile, to show on the outside that he's okay but can't help but worry and wonder if that's a sign that he's next.  "Alright everyone here is what's happening today.  Me and Eunwoo are going to search the library.  The rest of you try to break into the office and find whatever you can on what the parents were doing or trying to accomplish"-Linda.  "Just...the two of you? Maybe someone else should go with you no offence"-Jae.  "None taken.  Alright Mia you come with us.  Jae Jackson and Raima will find a way into the office okay?"-Linda.  "Sounds good.  Lets finish this delicious food and go ahead and get to bringing this hell to an end"-Jae. 

They each split into their respective groups.  Linda and Eunwoo make their way to the library and upon arrival look in shock at the catastrophic disaster to befall each and every book within the library.  Eunwoo sees pages floating in mid air and a little girl's voice rings throughout the room.  Books begin rising up from the ground and circling the two as if someone is controlling them to attack the two.  They stay on their guard and see a silhouette dripping in blood, as each book begins to dye red.  Eunwoo takes one look at her and feels her strengthening her control on his mind.  She weaves her way in, past many defences put up inside of his head.  He fights back, feeling her darkness seeping in to contaminate everything positive in his brain.  Linda notices his eyes rolling back into his head.  "No no fight this Eunwoo!! Fight her control!! Dont give up on Yas!!!!"-Linda.  "Y-Yasmin.. OF COURSE.  GET OUT OF MY HEAD BITCH"-Eunwoo.  "Damn it... I was so close but by now Damien should be working his magic on her heh"-Lily. 

Meanwhile with Yasmin...

Damien's spirit form looks at the helpless state Yasmin is in.  Her body in tatters and her face so dehydrated from lack of water.  Her lips dry and quivering as she mutters to herself incoherently.  He peers down at her and brings himself down to face level, as he slips in through the bars.  He lifts her up and holds her in place, as his hand snakes around her waist.  His other hand touching her cheek gently.  She looks into his eyes, afraid and uncertain but also curious as to whether there is a spark between the two. He tells her he still loves her and that his love for her never died out. Though they were young he was certain the feeling keeping him from heading into the afterlife, was because he never told her officially his real feelings. "I always loved you Yasmin, I still do.  Tell me would you still become mine? Could you leave him for me?"-Damien.
