Hide and Seek

The next victim-Ch7

Jae cries her heart out, as Raima barely manages to get a word out as blood continues to spill despite the bandage holding it together.  She cradles her in her arms, bringing her lips to hers.  The tears fall freely down to her lips like raindrops on windows.  The kiss is bittersweet but Jae let's her feelings be known, as Raima shows better response.  She brings Raima in for a hug, letting herself become soaked by the blood. "I'm sorry... I love you please don't die on me.."-Jae.  "I love you too Jae, I went about it the wrong way...but this love is real"-Raima. "Stop talking. Stop... Just get through this! I'll scream at you a 100000x but please no more talking... just be okay"-Jae. 

Mia and Xiaojun come in, hand in hand.  Lipstick evident on Xiaojun's face.  A cheeky smile makes an appearance on his already incredible features, as he pulls Mia in for another kiss.  Their lips smash and collide all over again, seeming to never get enough of one and another.  They feel the atmosphere prick against their skin, like a needle popping a balloon in one swift motion.  They let go of each other's hands, as Mia runs over to Yasmin and then sees Raima and Jae.  Jackson lost in thought and letting a single tear spill from his eye.  Xiaojun tries to shake Jackson out of his trance, as he's been staring at his phone for a good 15mins.  "Yo bro snap out of it! What happened? Why is Yasmin unconscious? And why are Jae and Raima covered in blood?"-Xiaojun.  "Yas! Oh god... She's barely breathing..  What the fuck happened?"-Mia.  "I don't know Mi, I'm just as confused.  No one is giving us an answer"-Xiaojun.  "Allow me to recall what happened then". 

The boy in the blind fold enters, holding Mia from behind.  She stiffens as she feels her energy being sapped from her, just like a mosquito drawing blood from it's prey.  "Now Mia...you're almost too pure but did you know your boyfriend used to beat up his ex girlfriend? He has "changed" somehow but don't let your guard around him".  Mia feels the mist enshrouding her mind finally disperse.  She looks at Xiaojun with wide eyes, as she slowly takes a step back.  The desperation in his voice, as Mia starts looking at him as if he's a monster.  "Mi.. I'd never hurt you ever.  I love you"-Xiaojun.  "I..."-Mia.  "I waited so long to tell you... but I love you Mia with all of my heart.  I know I fucked up in the past. I'm a changed man, I'd never ever think about hurting you ever"-Xiaojun.  "Mia...If you want I'll make him go away... He's a monster... Say the word and I'll make him disappear like smoke". 

Without warning a shadow surrounds Xiaojun and starts to pull him towards the ground.  Mia dives across the floor to grab his hands, as she pulls him with her all might.  Their hands becoming sweaty, as their grip loosens on each other.  Eunwoo pulls with Mia, to try to prevent Xiaojun from being pulled in.  With a harsh tug, he frees himself from their hold as he sees it was all useless to begin with.  "I love you"-Xiaojun. Tears well up in Mia's eyes like a cup being over filled with water, as it spills and she sinks to the ground lost in her own thoughts.  Eunwoo pulls her in for a gentle hug, as she cries into his chest.  "I love you too Xiaojun... Please stay alive"-Mia.  "2 are hidden... and now only 7 remain hehehehehehehehe"

The spirit disappears as Raima manages to pull through and her wound begins to close up.  "I'll have my fun with you lovebirds later haha".  "This sick fucker is messing with our heads.  We need to stick together. We must find Aya and Xiaojun!"-Jae.  "I agree.  Our problems can wait.  We need to make sure those two are still alive"-Raima. 

"Eunwoo are you still with us? We'll leave someone to watch her"-Jae.

"Y-Yeah... Um I guess Mia can stay with her"-Eunwoo

"I promise I'll call you when she wakes up"-Mia

"Thanks..."-Eunwoo

He hangs his head in shame knowing his relationship with her could be severely damaged.  She's still unresponsive but what he doesn't know, she can still hear everything being said aloud.  She enters a dreamlike state of mind, as she sees the boy in the blind fold.  He's there sitting with a little girl and they're drinking from very expensive china, as the girl places the cup down gently; making an effort to show her ladylike mannerisms.    He struggles to follow and the two of them laugh as he tries to copy her gestures and the elegance that exudes from her.  Her hand still and steady as she pours tea into her cup, but instead Yasmin sees blood as she finds herself submerging from a pool of blood.  She hears anguish and pain in their voices. "Why are you doing this to us?! We-we're your".  The voice is cut off but she sees more and everything starts to make sense, as she pieces the puzzle from each memory she's already seen in her dreams.  "There's still more I'm missing... But I'm starting to see what he's showing me"-Yasmin. 

Eunwoo, Jae, Raima, Jackson and Linda split into groups of 3 as Mario comes downstairs, determined to help find everyone.  Eunwoo, Raima and Jackson are one team, whilst the others decide to search less obvious places.  Eunwoo's team makes their way towards a variety of rooms each locked with keys.  He notices each key has an intricate design in place to fit for each key hole.  Raima's eyes flash in recognition, as she studies each key properly.  "These keys are colour coded...We have to figure out the code if we want these keys, to unlock each room"-Raima. 

Meanwhile with the others, Linda, Jae and Mario come across the basement, already dreading what they may come across in there.  Mario being the guy, volunteers to head down first.  They bring flashlights, as an unnatural inhumane like sound comes from the basement.  Linda decides to brave the anxiety building inside of her, as she finds something to pick the locks with. Jae hands her a hairpin from her hair and Linda carefully works her magic, as the lock clicks instantly.  "Alright...I'll go first.  Jae you follow along with Mario.  We will find Aya and Xiaojun, before he takes anyone else"-Linda.
