Hide and Seek

Ch15-when everything seems clear

Raima feels the rumbling beginning to cease.  Eunwoo fumbles for his phone, as the others begin talking all at once.  Linda grabs the phone and begins sending a picture of what the fuss is about.  Raima gasps at the picture and her eyes widen in surprise, as she shows the picture to Jae.  She runs back to the area that's been destroyed by the tremors and pulls out a book with the same kind of symbol.  Raima looks at the book and flicks through the contents.  Her eyes land on the meaning of the symbol and the pieces of information begin to form in her mind.  "Omg I got it.  Linda, Eunwoo and Mia listen to me carefully! You guys have to come here and place your hand on each print.  The symbol represents... unity and also the binding of souls.  I guess in that moment, it'll feel like we're one"-Raima. 

The others come running as they enter the room and sees them already in their positions.  They join and Raima gives the instructions for unlocking the puzzle.  Each person has to move their hand a certain way, to be able to match with the symbol on the door.  They hear a whimpering sound and the smell of blood travels through their noses.  The putrid smell fills the air and a gaseous substance surrounds the area, as they get the door open.  They're brought to their knees by the sight they see.  A girl who barely looks like she is hanging on for her life, is trapped inside of a container.  Her lips that don't move and her eyes glued shut, with no chance of knowing whether they may open again. They all freeze in place, as they notice the green liquid substance her body is being preserved in.  They each take a step closer, as they see controls and various bottles of red ruby coloured like substances with labels on each and every single one.  Raima makes her way over and pulls one down from the shelf.  She sees a name and almost drops it in shock.  "G-guys...our names are on these!!"-Raima.  They gather around and frantically reach for the bottles with their names written on it. Linda feels her eyes widen as a sudden flashback replays in each of their minds.  They all feel connected as they reach out to one another, through their minds being confined in one small space.  The memories begin to unravel at how their involvement began. 

Linda watches as her parents scream in agony, at the sight of their child being taken but feels tears running down her face when she realises their involvement.  "T-they were all a part of this... and we were their guinea pigs"-Linda.  "Our parents were in arms with these people????"-Raima.  "This is so fucked.  We were each tested on and our parents were the ones who did it....?"-Jae.  "M-My parents were the head researchers here... Then does that mean Baekho's sample is here????"-Eunwoo.  "My sample? Why on earth would it be here?"-Baekho.  "Bro...."-Eunwoo.  "B-Baek?"-Linda.  "Oh hello you two, great to see you both"-Baekho.  "What is going on here? Why are you here? Inside of this room I mean..."-Linda.  "Oh this place? It's my private lab...you're trespassing"-Baekho.  "You're a part of this? What are you trying to achieve?!"-Linda.  "I love that feisty attitude of yours Linda...but it's nothing you need to concern yourself with.  Just know you each played your role well...It's only a matter of time till the real game begins"-Baekho.  "What is that supposed to mean?"-Linda.  "You'll each be reborn... and you will thank me for it"-Baekho.  "Explain it to us properly!! Where are they being hidden?!"-Linda.  "If I told you, that wouldn't be the point of hide and seek... you have to find them, I can't help you"-Baekho. "Are you even the same man I fell in love with?"-Linda.  "I've always been him...just slightly more ambitious"-Baekho. 

He marvels at his work of the woman being trapped in the container.  Jae looks at Raima who looks ready to throw every single bottle on the ground.  Linda clenches her fists at her sides, as the man she once loved moves away from her to check the vital levels of the young woman inside the container.  "Superb...She is on the same wavelength as the first successful one... If all goes well, she could bring back our rightful lady"-Baekho.  "I want answers Baekho and I want them now"-Linda.  "Now now... don't be so rough, we have plenty of time for that.  What is it you want to know Linda?"-Baekho.  "I want to know everything!! Why are we all involved??? Who are you anymore.... and more importantly where are they all hidden?!"-Linda.  "I know nothing about where they're being hidden... but I do know about your involvement... Eunwoo fill them in on the rest"-Baekho.  "W-what??? Eunwoo too??? You... did this to your own girlfriend?"-Linda.  "I was forced... to help my parents when I was younger but I'd never harm her and you know that... but I should've kept my distance at school.  I loved her ever since I was a child and couldnt stay away... I'm sorry"-Eunwoo.  "Must I do the explaining then....?"-Baekho. 

Jae and Raima sneak up on behind Baekho whilst Linda and Eunwoo have him distracted.  Raima racks her brain for a solution and decides to unlock the container.  Baekho realises what is happening and tries to stop them.  "No no you can't release her!!!! She's not complete"-Baekho.  They ignore him completely as laughter erupts from inside of the container.  Then it smashes into a million pieces as glass shards are frozen in mid air.  The girl walks out, her long hair flowing behind her.  She looks down at Eunwoo with a playful expression on her face.  "So what did I miss?"-Lyna.
