Jack Gilinsky

All you could hear was the pitter patter of the raindrops hitting your bedroom window. You had an endless amount of homework that you hadn't layed a finger on, a room that had to be cleaned, and an annoying little brother you were supposed to be watching. You decided to start on one of the tasks instead of moping around. All you really wanted to do was be with Jack, but apparently the weather had different plans. Jack was stuck in New York with a delayed flight, and you were still in Ohio waiting for him to be in your arms again.

You sighed as you picked the dirty clothes up off the floor and threw them in your hamper. You had finally convinced your little brother to sit down and watch movies for the few hours that were left before your mom got home. It had bought you some time by yourself, and some much needed peace and quiet. All your brother had done all day was run around yelling or shooting anything that would break or make noise (including you) with Nerf darts. You wished Jack would have been there to help you. He could always get your brother to  calm down. He liked to say he had the "magic touch".

You chuckled at the thought of the cheeky boy. That chuckle soon turned into a few lone tears falling down your cheeks. All you wanted was him to be there with you to "help" you with your never ending homework. Even though nothing ever got accomplished with the work, because he would find anyway to keep you from focusing.

The tears had just started to fall more rapidly when suddenly you heard a knock at the door. You stood up and started walking downstairs to the door, confused at who it could be. You stopped at the door remembering you probably looked like a mess from crying, but decided you could care less and opened the door. As soon as the door creeked open you could recognize the cologne anywhere, it was the one and only Jack Gilinsky. You jumped into his open arms and felt his strong arms squeeze your small figure. You pulled away from him and looked up into his eyes.

"What's a pretty girl like you been crying for." He said looking concerned.

"I was just missing a special someone, but don't worry the tears are done falling now that they're standing in front of me" you said with a small smile forming.

"Good because this special someone missed that gorgeous smile of yours" he said looking down at you and placing his lips in yours as you pulled him inside out of the freezing rain.
