You and your best friend Matt were having a lazy day, just watching movies and hanging out. You had had a crush on him ever since you met, but you didn't want to ruin your friendship. You had been watching The Notebook, and it just ended.

"I want a relationship like there's one day" you said looking over at Matt.

"Me to" he replies.

"Maybe that could be us" he says looking I to your eyes.

"What do you mean" you say sitting up

"Listen I have liked you for a while now and didn't know when, or how to tell you." he said looking nervous.

You looked at him shocked not knowing what to say.

"You know what I shouldn't have said anything, I'll just leave" he said standing up and walking towards the door.

"Matt wait, I feel the same way, I just didn't want to ruin our friendship."

Matt walked back over to your bed and pulled you into a hug and kissing you.

"So does this mean you'll be my girlfriend."

"Of course" you said as you both layed back down and he pulled you I to his chest.

"If you're a bird I'm a bird" Matt said leaning down and pressing his lips to yours.
