You had just got back from a six hour flight back home. You were exhausted from the flight and decided to take your makeup off, put pajamas on, and go straight to bed. What you didn't know was that in the morning your boyfriend was going to make a surprise visit to welcome you home. Now this wouldn't be a problem, but Jack had never seen you without makeup on. You felt insecure without it, and thought if he saw you without it he would think you weren't good enough for him and break up with you.

It was about nine o' clock when you thought you heard your front door open. Since you were still tired from your flight you thought maybe you were just hearing things. Suddenly you heard your bedroom door open, and footsteps coming towards your bed. You felt your bed dip and someone whispered in your ear,

"Hey wake up, I missed you!"

You could recognize that voice anywhere. It was the one and only Jack Gilinsky. He started to lean in to kiss you when you realized you didn't have any makeup on. You ran to the bathroom and locked the door behind you.

"Babe, what's wrong?" Jack asked you.

"Nothing's wrong" you said grabbing your makeup and tried to apply it quickly.

"Are you sure your okay" he said trying to open the door.

"Yes, I'm sure I'm fine just give me a couple minutes" you said flushing the toilet to make him think you were going to the bathroom.

You walked out and went to Jack to give him a hug. You put your arms around him when he pulled away from you.

"Did you put makeup on?" he asked looking down at you.

"No, I was going to the bathroom."

"Don't lie to me, I know when your not telling the truth."

"Ok, yes I was putting makeup on." you said trying not to make eye contact with him.

"Why'd you have to put it on." he said putting his finger under your chin, making you look up at him.

"I feel insecure without it, I feel like if I don't wear it I won't be good enough for you, and you'd break up with me" you said letting a tear fall.

"Hey" he said wiping the tear away with his thumb, "Your perfect just the way you are, and if anything your TOO good for me."

"I love you Jack."

"I love you to."
