The beach had been on your mind ever since you had moved to Cali with your best friend Alyssa. A good tan was what you wanted and a good tan was what you were going to get. If only you could convince Alyssa to stop unpacking long enough to actually drag her there.

"Alyssssaaaaaa!" you cried out hoping to annoy her bad enough that she'd give in.

"What Megan?" She asks clearly knowing what your going to say. In response all you do is held up your hot pink bikini and swing it in the air.
"Fine but only because you won't shut up until I do." She walks over to one of her boxes to search for her own suit while you squeal in glee and run to the bathroom to change.

Once you both were ready for the sun you jumped in the car and started shouting along to "Uptown Funk" as it filled the speakers of the car.

When you got to the beach you dragged Alyssa behind you eager to find thee perfect spot to take in as much sun as possible. Finally you found a spot that seemed pretty good, except for the group of rowdy boys playing football a little ways away. You figured you could just close your eyes and block them out. You were wrong, ignoring them was going to be a lot harder then you thought. Especially when a brown haired boy came running towards you trying to catch the soaring ball. He clearly didn't see you laying there and tripped over your legs causing him to fall a backwards. Now normally you'd be yelling at him for not paying attention but this boy was something else. He was gorgeous. And his voice made you melt even more when he immediately started apologizing.

"Hey it's no problem, it's not everyday someone as handsome as you literally falls for me." You giggled wondering where the sudden confidence to say that came from.

"Well you're definately right when you say I fell for you, but a pretty girl like you must have a pretty name."

You felt the temperature start to rise in your cheeks as you told him your name.

"Well I wasn't wrong then was I Megan. I'm Jack and how about you come join me and my friends and later you can join me on a date."

"Well mister Jack somebody's got quite a bit of confidence there don't you." You told him lightly pushing his shoulder.

"Well when you get a chance to run into someone as beautiful as you you just can't let them get away."

"Well looks like we have a date then." You say as he reaches his hand down to help you up. You wipe the sand off your legs as you remembered about Alyssa. You couldn't just leave her there alone.....well you shouldn't anyway. You told Jack to wait as you ran over to her and dragged her back to the tan boy waiting for you.

"She's coming with us." You told him continueing towards the other boys.

"Beautiful and sassy. I like it." He chuckles as you shove him. The rest of the day was spent with Jack and you even saw Alyssa get a little flirtatious with a few of Jack's friends.
