You had wanted Hayes to meet your family for a while but he had either been in L.A. with Nash or with you and his family in North Carolina. Your parents lived in Michigan and your older brother and sister were living in different states. It wasn't easy to find a time when everyone could be together for Hayes to meet them. Finally everyone had found a time tho fly to your parents house for your grandpa's birthday party. You were excited for everyone to meet the boy that had become everything to you. Hayes had slightly different feelings about out though. He shared your excitement but he was also really nervous and afraid your family wouldn't like him. You knew as long as he made you happy your family would love him.

The day had come and you and Hayes were getting ready in your hotel room. You put on a white sweater dress with tall tan dress boots. Tully curled your black hair to perfection and put on some mascara and winged eyeliner. You finished off your outfit with the necklace Hayes had got you for you anniversary. While you were getting ready Hayes put on a white dress shirt with long khakis and brown dress shoes. You could tell be was freaking himself out when he for into the car and started rambling about everything that could go wrong. You silenced him by grabbing his free hand and squeezing it.

"Hayes, they're going to love you no matter what goes wrong. Which nothing will. Just calm down and drive so we're not late." You told him giggling as he pulled onto the streets.

When you arrive you felt Hayes tense up next to you as you both walked towards the door. You rang the doorbell and listened as you heard footsteps coming towards the door. The door swung open and you saw your mom standing there before you were pulled into a thought hug.

"Grace! I've missed seeing my little girl everyday." Your mom said before releasing you from her tight grip.

"I've missed you to but I've had a wonderful person there to take care of me." You told her looking up at Hayes.

"Well this must be that wonderful. Such a handsome young man." As she spoke you felt your cheeks heat up up and you knew Hayes were similar to yours.

"Well come in. Everyone had been waiting tho meet you Hayes."

You lead Hayes into the house and into the living room where everyone was gathered. As you both sat down you felt Hayes relax as he started talking with your dad. When Hayes had gotten up to follow your older brother to the backyard your dad walked up to you and told you what a good guy Hayes was and how proud of you he was for finding such a nice man. You knew at that moment Hayes would fit right in with you family.
