☀︎︎ Alessia's Prescriptive...

I raced down the sidewalk, as I saw Maya. We had decided to go to McDonald's before going to the BTS concert. It was a few minutes past 4, and the concert started at half past 5. So, we still had some time to ourselves.

"Maya! I'm over here!", I yelled over to Maya, who kept glancing around her nervously. It was the middle of November so, the sun set much earlier.

"Oh, hey, I thought you were in there already", Maya replied.

"I'd never ditch you!", I added, laughing.

"I know, same, let's go inside now", Maya said, giggling. I followed Maya through the McDonald's entrance door and we went to the counter, where we were greeted by a smiling cashier.

"Get me some fries.. extra large though...", Maya whispered, and I nodded.

"Hi, what can I get you guys?", the cashier asked us, still smiling like a psychopath.

"Err, we'd like uh extra large fries and uh a milkshake", I replied, hoping the moment would pass.

"Okay, that'd be five dollars!", the cashier said, again, still smiling. Maya thrust me the money for her fries while I got out my money and paid. Then, we got our food.

"That was creepy....", Maya gasped, chomping on her fries, the second we got out.

"Yeah... I've never, ever, seen somebody smile that wide and long..", I agreed, slurping my milkshake.

"Hmm... it's nearly five now.. the concert is almost starting..", Maya added, checking her phone.

"Oh, let's get going then", I replied, getting out my phone and searching my favorite anime, My Hero Academia. Then, Maya looked over my shoulder.

"Why are you looking at anime?! Why don't we discuss how hecking hot Jin is?!", Maya exclaimed, fangirling.

"Ehh, I'm okay", I replied, rolling my eyes, still watching My Hero Academia.

"Also, shouldn't we take the bus?", Maya suggested, after a moment, as I shrugged.

"I'm not sure", I mumbled, in reply.

"It's getting dark..", Maya added, looking around.

"The concert is somewhere at 60th East Street, and we're at uh... 45th", I said, looking up at the street signs.

"The concert is starting in about ten minutes! There's noo way we'd be able to walk ALL of that in time!", Maya exclaimed, looking horrified.

"Ehhh, I guess we should then", I suggested. We both stopped at the curb and waited at the bus stop sign. But I felt like I was about to fall asleep. What if I *was* supposed to take the medicines my therapist had suggested today instead of tomorrow? I fought to keep myself awake, watching MHA while also listening to Maya fangirl. But, before I knew it, I fell backward, on the curb.
