⁷ Apple's prescriptive...

"Okay but seriously, the land around this house is really pretty and nice", I added, after a moment, trying to break the sad tension around all of us.

"I haven't seen it yet.. the window in my room only shows the sky, but it is nice", Snow replied.

"Yeah, same", Maya agreed.

"Hm..", Alessia mumbled.

"Are you alright, Alessia? You've been looking pale this whole time", R.Kade said. Instantly, Alessia sat up.

"I'm fine! I'm just.. I don't know", Alessia yelped.

"R.Kade is right, Alessia, you sure you're alright?", Maya frowned. Alessia nodded carefully and slowly.

"She's probably just scared, you know", I shrugged.

"I really wish I had a mango", Maya sighed.

"I know right", Alessia groaned.

"There has to be a kitchen here, it's sooo big", Snow added.

"We should look for it then", R.Kade suggested. I shrugged.

"I guess, good idea", I replied.

"Huh, let's go look for it then", Alessia piped.

"I think we should go into pairs", Maya nodded.

"Good idea, I'm going with R.Kade, again", Snow agreed.

"Alright, Apple, wanna come with Maya and I?", Alessia offered. I shrugged.

"Alright, then", I replied. Snow and R.Kade both got up and left. It was weird how they both fought so much but still stuck together.

"Hmm, let's look around down that hall", Alessia suggested. Maya nodded.

"Good idea, but this place is so big I don't even think we'll find it", I sighed.

"True but just hope that at least either us or Snow and R.Kade will", Alessia frowned. I shrugged.

"So many of these rooms are locked", Maya sighed.

"Let me try..", Alessia offered. She walked over to where Maya stood. She twisted the large door's doorknob and leaned against it. Surprisingly, the door opened and led to only another dark and empty room.

"Strange..", I mumbled.

"Huh..", Alessia agreed, catching her balance as she nearly fell onto the floor in the empty room.

"I think it'd be better if we just leave the doors that are just hard to open alone", Maya sighed, once again.

"Yeah, plus, the kitchen door wouldn't even have a doorknob", I shrugged.

"True...., let's continue now", Alessia added. All three of us walked down the creaky hall.

"Welp, it's a dead end again, let's go that way", Maya suggested, I shrugged as Alessia nodded?

"I think we found it!", I exclaimed, pointing to a room with no door, as I had predicted.

"Huh..", Alessia mumbled, again. She and maya both stepped closer while I only stayed behind.

"The cabinets are so dirty..", Maya commented, horrified.

"Er... there's a basket of mangos.....?", Alessia added.

"That's weird....", Maya gasped, picking up a mango.

"The woman must have left it, they also seem fresh!", I exclaimed. Suddenly, I heard footsteps behind us, I turned around and saw R.Kade and Snow coming into view.

"Oh..wow..you guys found it before R.Kade and I..", Snow gasped.

"Why is there mangos?", R.Kade questioned, confused. I shrugged.

"I know right., it's so weird", chirped Alessia.

"Also.. we saw Clover..", Snow added quietly, after a moment.

"What, how?!", I exclaimed.

"She was sitting at this table down that hall, holding a knife..", R.Kade murmured.

"I — wow, she is obviously the murderer", Maya gasped, quietly but angrily.

"Yeah, what innocent would sit around with a damn knife?", Alessia hissed.

"Damn..", I gasped.
