☾ Maya's Prescrptive...

I had found some chicken and noodles in the kitchen even though it was so dusty and messy. So, I made some chicken noodle soup.

As we had been eating, Snow had told me how Apple had died, too.. meaning another person had died but I hadn't been able to save them.. I really wish I could save somebody.

But who was the murderer? It couldn't be Alessia, she was my best friend since we were so young. She would've told me.. or?.. So, maybe Snow.. maybe she was faking this all.

But it couldn't have been her. Maybe it was Kocho after all?...I sighed and got up from lying on the floor. I decided to go into Snow's room and confront her.

I opened the door and went into the hall. I wonder where Alessia was. Maybe showering? Earlier, Snow had gotten lost on her way from the kitchen to her room. Somehow she had found a bathroom. Maybe.. nevermind..

I knocked on Snow's door. But I got no response. Weird.. she always answered on the first knock. I knocked again, but Snow still didn't reply.

"Snow?", I said, pushing the door open. But I saw Alessia hovering over Snow, holding a book, as Snow slept. Was Alessia holding the same book that had been on Apple's bedside?..

"Maya —", Alessia gasped.

"What are you doing?", I replied. Alessia took a step behind herself, hiding her arm which held the book.

"Nothing, just trying to uh wake up Snow", answered Alessia sheepishly.

"With a book?", I added, narrowing my eyes,

"Well, I've tried shouting, but it's no use", Alessia shrugged, looking away as if she was trying to avoid eye contact.

"Then why don't you try by shaking her?", I suggested.

"Er, no use, too", Alessia mumbled. There had been moments in the duration of our friendship Alessia had lied. And it was always obvious.

"You're lying", I hissed. Alessia turned hack around, looking at me with a shocked and pissed expression.

"I'm not, try it yourself", Alessia murmured, crossing her arms. I glared at her and went over to Snow. It was so obvious now.

"Snow, wake up!", I exclaimed, shaking Snow's whole body. In a second she groaned and woke up.

"What?..", Snow mumbled. I turned around. But Alessia wasn't there. That punk.

"Er, long story short, I think Alessia is the murderer", I replied.

"I know, same", Snow said, sitting up.

"Sorry for waking you up", I sighed.

"It's fine, I forgot to tell you something also", Snow mumbled, yawning.

"Oh, okay, same", I replied.

"I confronted Alessia about Apple's death", Snow said quietly.

"Really? What'd she say?", I exclaimed.

"She said —", Snow started.

" — that you two are dead", Alessia laughed. I turned around, and saw Alsssia. But, how? She wasn't here just a few seconds ago.
