☾ Maya's Prescrptive...

I woke up the next morning. I saw streaks of light from the huge window flying across the small room Alessia and I shared.

"Alessia?...", I mumbled, trying to see if my best friend was awake or not. I got no reply, so I assumed Alessia was sleeping.

But she always snored? Did she get murdered too?! I quickly lifted myself up from the bed and climbed onto the upper bunk where Alessia slept.

Alessia wasn't there.. maybe she was just talking with Apple and/or Snow somewhere else?..

Then, I climbed down the ladder that always seemed like it'd bust down. I landed on the floor with a slight *thud* and rushed out of the room.

I knocked on Apple's door but nobody replied. I cracked the door open a bit and looked in, but Apple was still sleeping.

So then I decided to knock on Snow's door. Luckily, Snow answered, like last time.

"Hm? Oh, good morning, Maya, come in", Snow offered, cheerfully.

"Good morning, Snow.. where's Alessia?", I asked, letting Snow drag me by my arm into her room.

"I'm right here", Alessia replied for Snow. She was sitting criss-crossed on the floor near a bed where I guess Snow slept.

"Oh..", I mumbled. Snow plopped onto the butleft some space for me.

"Sorry for leaving you in the room, by the way", Alessia said.

"It's fine", I answered.

"I think these walls are soundproof", Snow inferred.

"True, once Maya and I were literally screaming but when I stepped out into the hall it sounded like everybody was asleep", Alessia agreed. I nodded.

"If we had heard R.Kade..", I mumbled.

"Seriously, Maya, you barely knew him, so stop worrying", Alessia sighed.

"Yeah..", Snow nodded.

"Eh.. anyways, why don't we get something from the kitchen", I suggested, afer a moment.

"Yeah, why not", answered Alessia.

"The last thing I ate was a *mango*", Snow laughed.

"Mangos are great! How dare you!", I shot.

"Depends, really", Snow giggled. The three of us then got up and went down the hall, heading toward the kitchen.

"We should wake up Apple later, too", I added.

"Mhm", Snow mumbled. Alessia shrugged.

"Also, it's been pretty long since we've seen Kocho..", Alessia gasped, after a moment. Soon, the kitchen came into view and we all headed in.

"Yeah, probably 'cause she's planning on who to murder next", Snow grumbled.

"This place is so mysterious", I sighed, opening a drawer, discovering granola bars.

"What's that?", Snow asked, picking up the box of granola bars.

"Granola.. ugh it's expired", I replied, noticing the expiration date on the colorful box.

"Hm.. it's raisin anyway..", Snow shrugged.

"Who knows what day it is anyway", Alessia murmured.

"There's a calendar in my room, if you guys didn't notice, I keep track too", answered Snow.

"Huh", Alessia replied. There was a weird tension around the three of us but I didn't understand.

"Oh! Look!", Snow exclaimed after a moment.

"Huh — lasagna?", Alessia questioned.

"It's food", Snow shrugged.

"It's not expired, too", I added.

"Well, there's an oven, my cooking skills aren't great so you guys can do it", Alessia added. I laughed in reply.

"Okay, Snow, I can do it", I offered. Snow shrugged.

"Eh okay", Snow replied. I heated up the lasagna while Alessia and Snow searched for utensils and plates. Then, in a while, we had some amazing lasagna, cooked (heated up*) by me!
