I couldn't walk. The ran got my knees buckling and knocked out any breath left. The sun set over the sea as I continued along the corniche determined to make it home. Stumbling upon a rock, I fell to my face and realized I had been pushing myself too hard. That's when you came and helped me to my feet asking if I was alright and promising to help me back home. I looked at you with my sweaty face like a damsel in distress watching her knight in shining armor. That's how you've been since the night we met.
