It's the sixth of May as I'm typing this up, so I technically have to say that I made cupcakes yesterday

I've only tried the base of the cupcake (particularly when it was still warm/hot & not cool enough to put the frosting on) but they're really good!! It was a vanilla cake mix for the cake & I used rainbow chip frosting to top it off, which I literally had to glob on when finishing them up (my mom told me to make it THICC ASF)
She told me to text a pic to my grandpa and tell him I made my own cupcakes (which btw all I did was pour the cake mix & crack an egg for the batter, put in the cupcake liners, put the trays in the oven, and frost them) He responded saying "I want some. They look yummy." and that he was jealous
So that got me thinking 'hmmm.. what if the Hamilton characters were sweets, candies, & pastries?' Here it is y'all
Alex: Reese's! The icon!! The one we all know!! Has a sweet side but also has the nutty, slightly salty side!! M o s t l y s a l t y f o r s o m e p e o p l e But Reese's slaps for real, I don't get how people actually dislike the combo of chocolate & peanut butter when they like Nutella
Burr: Candy corn. My logic for this one is because there's always the age old debate of if Burr was the good guy or the bad guy.. we all argue if candy corn is good or not. Eh???? You get it??? Personally, I've tried only one good brand of candy corn, everything else isn't very good (hol up.. I forgot what brand it was, so basically, I don't like it)
Laurens: Brownies!! We all love them!!!! Sweet asf & popular!! Legit the best!!!!! Nothing else!! Heart full head empty!!
Lafayette: ÉCLAIRS ÉCLAIRS ÉCLAIRS ÉCLAIRS ÉCLAIRS- we get it, he's French- BUT they're legit so good Essentially a French donut, but 10 times better I've tried a tiny version in French class before and they slap so freakin hard
Hercules: 3 Musketeers. I don't think I've ever had them because I've had the risk of peanut for me.. turns out it's just tree nut allergies and no peanut allergy for me But issa thicc boi with the chocolate nougat
Washington: Second to first in terms of popularity, although it was ALL thanks to Washy, SNICKERS. Like 3 Musketeers but better. Like, WAYYY better. even though i ain't even had neither of em
Angelica: THREE-TIER WEDDING CAKE. A GODDESS. A QUEEN. WE ALL LOVE THIS WOMAN SO MUCH AND IT'S FUNNY WHEN SHE SMOTHERS NEEDED COMMENTS INTO OTHERS' FACES (joke fully intended, like when the groom and bride push cake into each other's faces) (also, I almost just said broom and gride)
Eliza: SweeTarts. They're one of my fav candies ever & I hardly get them anymore, but they're the best
Peggy: LEMON TARTS AHHHHH!!!!! I tried them once when a classmate gave a Book Talk (a presentation on a book) in freshman year English & they slapped!! Great taste, vibrant asf, they already gave me Peggy vibes
Seabury: Smarties, since this bitch wants to verbally tussle about war & Britain and be a SMART-aleck about it
Lee: Warheads. Sour asf about Washington and Alexander. DUHH *ba dum tss*
Philip: Jolly Ranchers!!!! I love them regardless of their flavors, which could be a bad reputation from their father figure or coming from the daughter of a rich New York family
Thomas: Aight.. so Thomas is my current fav from the musical and I'm giving him my personal favorite sweet to have: chocolate chip cheese ball. Fr it's so good.. seems bad judging from its exterior but tastes SO FRIGGIN GOOD
Madison: Cookies! Typically pretty good but some looks and tastes can be deceiving to the average being Not Thomas tho ;) Jk jk I don't even ship anything in the Hamilton fandom anymore tbh.. I'm making myself feel more guilty by shipping real people that are still alive right now
Maria: Starbursts. Because that kitty bouta burst from Alexander playin with it too m- OKAY I TOOK THE JOKE TOO FAR THERE BUT STARBURSTS SLAP Yellow ones do NOT deserve rights though, they're gross asf
Reynolds: A Heath bar. It just seems gross to me mainly because I can't have it lol (it has almonds) Well.. it just sounds old, judging from the name
Eacker: Licorice. This man makes me wanna throw up, put my vomit in a blender with licorice & chunks of dead hitchhikers, blend it all, pour it into his mouth, and drink it momma bird-style
King George: A danish. My only explanation is because they suck and my best friend & I were given danishes at one house on Halloween when we were ELIZA AND ANGELICA. Also her brother's dog, Cadence, was Peggy lol
