__Nat's POV__5 minutes prior__

He's still lying there. On the couch. Asleep. It's only been about 1 minute since we set him down and none of us have the gull to even move.

Why did I bring him up here? Am I insane?! I should've brought him to a normal hospital, not our living room! Suddenly, we all burst into chaos—

"What the fuck are we supposed to do now?!"

"I don't know how to take care of a kid!"

"What if he's contagious?"

"SOMEONE MAKE HIM SOUP."

"Get some blankets!"

"GET THE FUCKING SOUP."

"Oh, oh, oh! We need a thermometer!"

"NOT TOMATO BASIL, YOU DUMBASS! WHO EVEN LIKES TOMATO BASIL ANYMORE?"

"I DO, JACKASS—"

"GUYS!" Bruce screams, throwing his arms out wide. Everyone goes silent. "We need blankets, ice, a thermometer, and—"

"Chocolate milk." Clint interrupts, staring intensely at Peter's shivering form.

"Why chocolate milk?" Bucky asks incredulously.

"I'm getting strong chocolate milk vibes from this kid." Clint explains, squinting.

"Why the fuck not, then?" Tony throws his hands up in the air. "Let's bring him to a spare bedroom."

"Wait—" I stop the Avengers as they all grab one of Peter's limbs to carry him away. Well—all but the broken one. "We need to figure out how we're gonna play this off once he wakes up."

"I don't think we can." Steve shrugs. "He's gonna find out eventually."

"How does he not realize we're the Avengers yet?" Clint chuckles, running a hand down his face exhaustedly. "I mean, we're terrible at keeping secrets."

"I know. And it's literally my job to keep secrets." I grumble and cross my arms over my chest. "But I know for a fact that if he saw us up here with Tony, he'd put two and two together and realize who we are."

"I think we just need to tell him." Bruce sighs. "It's safest for him to know anyways."

"But we can't just tell him everything about ourselves!" I throw my arms around with emphasis to somehow get my point across stronger.
