I gritted my teeth as I closed my eyes, hesitating for the next word. Forever... is such a long time. It's just like I say. One wrong word and I will forever either be with him or not.

"I," I continued trailing off, "I-I... I'm sorry. I can't promise that... now."

She frowned before she stood up and said, "Two weeks. I give you two weeks to decide. And if you still haven't decided by then, please leave him."

I looked at her cold expression before I nodded. She's not that happy-go-lucky girl anymore...

Can I love him for eternity? But, what if he found someone else? Will he still keep his promise? What if he break it? O-or what if in anothet 10 years, I found someone else?

Questions running in my mind since she left until I'm back home. I opened the door and was welcomed by a meow. I jolted as I closed the door back, then took a deep breath and exhaled as I heard footstep coming towards the door.

As he carried the cat on his arm, he opened the door and, as a wide smile formed on his lips, he said, "Welcome back."

"Hey," I said.

He carried the cat under it's armpit and, while waving Shiko's hand, he said, "I miss you, master, so I want to hug you. Can't I?"

"Step aside with that stupid cat of yours. I'm not on the talking mood with you because I'm still pissed at you," I said as I walked pass him. I am not piss off! The conversation rushed through my mind like a lightning. I guess I do piss off, wait or is it... jealousy?

I blushed as I took off my shoes. Then, I glanced at Cody who didn't say anything and just keep stroking Shiko. His reaction is weird, but I just left him at the front door and walked straight into my dark room. With only the lamp table as light, I spreaded out on the bed as I laid down and let out a long sigh.

Suddenly, the door to my room opened and he stepped in. "Hey, you're still mad about the ring?" he asked as he walked closer and leapt on the bed after I moved to my side.

"No, I'm not."

He silent for a brief moment before he said, "I thought you were not on the talking mood with me."

I flushed in embarrassment and anger before I turned to the other side and said, "Five minutes ago."

I heard he laughed before he grabbed my shoulder, then drew closer to my ear and whispered, "Tell me, Edward, why are you pissed at me?"

His hot breath that hit my right ear made me shivered through my spine. "Your breath tick-"

"Do you want a ring, too?" he cut and again, his breath made me shivered.

I pushed him, then sat up as I covered my ear with my right hand and said, "Don't talk so close to my ear."

"The ring. Do you want it or not?" he asked, sighing as he bent his head to his left. Then, he straighten his head back and continued, "No, I shouldn't ask you."

Covering my eyes, he pushed me to the pillow and I gasped. I struggled yanking his hand as I heard he rustled into his pocket, then took my right hand before he slid a ring into my ring finger.

He withdrew his hand and slumped onto the pillow next to mine as he said, "Fit perfectly."

I stared at the ring as I blushed madder. It's the wedding ring that he failed to give me before.

"Never took off that ring. It was crafted with my name that represents you're mine and you belong to only me," he said as he slid under the blanket.
